Vegas would be the dopest spot ever. All flights to and from Vegas are cheap, lodging is cheap, convention space is cheap, and gambling will eat up all the money you save from all that cheap shit.

First I thoght that you play with the original PS2 and Xbox controllers at EVO but than I saw that trailer that you can see att the new EVO site. And there they are playing with arcade stiks.
So I wanted to ask you guys. Do you play with the originall controlers or with the arcade stiks?

I would never play with an arcade stik.
Arcade sticks are the preferred choice by most players, since they use them in arcades and at home. That and you’d get more credit for doing stuff on a stick than you could easily do on a normal pad.
I rarely use a pad for a fighter, only if I want a quick mash when I’m not giving it all my attention (or it’s KOF or something).
I do need to work on my tekken on stick though, but I’ll wait for my Sanwa.
Huh? People use sticks becuase there is a lot more control over your character. If you use a pad to play SF you’re limiting yourself. There’s no way you can do a lot of advanced things on a pad, let alone control your character properly. It’s just a lot easier to use a stick over a pad

Vegas is going to suck. Not only is Evo in August, but Vegas is ten feet away from the sun. Second, everyone is going to spend allllllllll of their money on drinks/gambiling/hookers.
I say keep it in Cal Poly for the rest of forever.

Hookers arent legal in vegas. But there is city like 20 miles away or something that where prostitution is legal. Plus legal prostitution are waaaay more expensive than the ilegal ones.
