I think we can just play it by ear. If we get the same amount of people as last time then one normal hotel room is probably fine. If a lot of people show up then we could probably all decide to get a suite then.
unrelated:
I’m gonna pick up a video capture device. If things work out we should be able to record footage from the weekend besides just pointing a phone at the TV. I really doubt Hooters has the kind of internet you’d need to stream, but we could probably record any sets that take place and post them to youtube after.
Im a huge 3S fan and headed to EVO for the first time this year. Im just a bit confused, so is the get-together/tourney going to be at the Hooters or in a separate hotel room? Was trying to follow the thread but Im not sure if anything’s been set in stone yet.
It’ll be in either a hooters hotel room or a suite at hooters. Not sure which yet. I’ll post here and on the facebook group when we’re set up on Friday.
Hooters Cup Singles Tourney
Double Elim 2/3
Friday at 8pm
Hooters Cup 3v3 Team Tourney
Double Elim
Saturday at 8pm
No entry fee and the prize will probably be something valueless and you might not actually want it.
If we can swing it we’ll record both and post them to youtube later.
Setup is cps3 supergun on CRT. We’ll bring sticks with seimitsu stick and sanwa buttons, but if you wanna bring a ps3 or 360 stick to use with undamned’s converter feel free.
Damn…I wish I could go this year. This sounds like an event that I would not want to miss! I’ve been shaking off some rust lately and would love a chance to get in on some of this action. Will anybody record the footage? Regardless, thanks to IglooBob for all his efforts and I’m sure it will be a good time had by all.
When I suggested Lance move down the Coast from Alaska, destination city of angels. I totally meant, you’re going to meet Asians in each of those hot bed cities. Hopefully Vancouver or Seattle.
And I was thinking like a dude riding the rails. Just not at Japanese Magnetron Bulleta Turbo Speed 5.
If you didn’t know, like you may be thinking:
“ALASKA? 3RD STRIKE? THERE AINT NO AZNs UP THERE!”
I saw chun twice last year. 1,000 games. Had to specifically Requested it for any set. Greediest anything was what I said, I always go for post super, UOH Super (When I don’t even play chun enough to know the timing!)
If you didn’t go, you can’t say what happened, even if I drop stories, when they even say
