It was a chinese dude named Oliver, and he was playing dance dance Revolution in the back by where the bathroom was. You might see him at super arcade now on Saturdays, plays magneto/storm/psylocke and then plays makoto in the other game. He has a Chinese friend who plays necro too, they usually come together.

Ryan this is my only problem. ^ Players like this are the reason worthwhile players refuse to come to the scene. Not everyone plays video games for a living, some of us play them to escape the harsh reality that is the myriad of annoying people outside of the game only to have to come back to this. That attitude of his is exactly why I stopped hanging out with ratchet ass chicks.
I don’t care if YOU call me a scrub, say that you beat me, comment on my life, etc. I don’t mind because you are my friend. But I don’t know this guy at all and he’s riding your coat tails like he’s Fern Dawg. Fern dawg can talk all the smack he wants about me, we have something of a friendship brewing from experience. This guy just wants to make his ggpo friends proud by stepping up to the guy that doesn’t like their version of the game. But also slighting me for that fact just sounds like you’re making a competitive scene for yourself and not out of something that already exists. That then means that I don’t really belong here. I’m here for the third strike and if I can have a brew with some friends while doing it, cool, but I’m not going to go out of my way just so Metric can finally whisper at me everything he’s said about me behind my back, you know what I’m saying? I don’t need that in my life right now.
As far as replying directly to your post, I can’t. You are too vague with all your information. By your post alone I can tell there’s a back log of shit talk that you’re attuned to and won’t see anything else until you’ve cleared from your mind yourself. I don’t do anything here that a COACH wouldn’t do for his players. It’s not like I’m here to reign over anyone, I just want to make sure they learn. That is the truth. So if I tell someone 1 + 1 = 2 and then someone comes in here saying 1 + 1 + 1 - 1 = 2, I’m going to point out the fact that the 1 + 1 + 1 - 1 is entirely their own method and not an appropriate tool for learning the game. New players need to know the regular way before they go off and start teaching their own way as “The Way”.

I agree with this part. Danders posts are some of the most uppity around the 3s forum while his merits are questionable. You seem to be placing yourself on a pedastal over 99% of the people on this forum talking down on just about everyone that’s not in the circle of players you appear to pretty much worship. I don’t see your reasoning most of the time and infact I find myself skipping your posts a lot for the aformentioned reasons.

LMAO! this thread reminds me of a player in my community that use to mouth off and call anyone he can beat scrubs, he called me a scrub when I was starting and swore I can never beat him, that was a year ago, we eventually played FT10 a couple of months back and I won 10-0 and proceeded to perfect him in winners finals in our city Major ( I also won that tourney). The look on his face after that was PRICELESS!
