Well on the hotel reservation it said 3 weeks prior to arrival which means it should be the 24th I think.
Is hotel registration with EVO discount officially closed for this year?
The Evo hotel site said the reservations were sent to the hotel but the hotel tells me that they don’t have my reservation. I am a little concerned. I have my confirmation number from the booking agency but nothing else.
I remember last year the confirmation number on the evo site and actual one from the hotel were 2 different numbers. I think next week is when they’ll take out the deposit.
The deposit is pending in my bank account! joy!

Called hotel to confirm my Deluxe room for 3+ people and it turns out they are listed as CLASSIC (1-2 people) with the smaller cheaper rate. Hotel told me they had no recourse, that’s how they were told to book it and said maybe the organizer can straighten it out.
I really hope we’re not boned. Staying at Caesar’s was a huge selling point :bluu:

We’re on the opposite side of the situation. I booked it for 3-4 people with the rate of $179 + tax (12%) so $200.48 is currently pending on my credit card. But I want a room for 1-2 people now with the rate of $149 + tax (12%) = $166.88.
I called Caesar’s Palace and they said that they can’t change my reservation and that I’d have to talk to the EVO coordinators. Who’s organizing EVO and how do I get in contact with them?
Damn shame we can’t just switch! As far as organizers, the ONLY information I found was on the hotel registration site. Here’s what it says. I emailed and haven’t heard back yet, hopefully Monday.
Ok, so originally I had a charge pending of 166.68, but that disappeared
and now I have a charge pending of 44.80 from CHKCARDCAESAR’S PLACE LAS VEG NVUS

Seems like some details are being worked out. I made a thread about incorrect room assignments below but Mr. Wiz said it’ll be worked out. You might wait a few days to see what happens with that charge.

So my deposit was taken out on the 19th - but it’s for $234. How is that possible? Wasn’t the max price $179 plus tax?

Update: I called the hotel today and they told me my rate was $209 instead of the $179 that the web site claimed. I also asked if it was a deluxe style room with the LCD TVs and he only said he could put in that request if I desired.
So what’s the deal?
Caesars should have your reservations now, you can call the hotel and see whats going on.
As far as the room type, it was a error on their part, and it is fixed as of a couple minutes ago.
Okay. I did call them but I can’t get an answer regarding my rate, and they can’t do anything with the confirmation number I was given when I booked back on January 27th. Should I be charged $209 or should there be some way to get it down to the $179 rate from when I booked?
I booked at 149 a night but they’re charging me 179 a night now. That pushes up the room cost another 300$ for my week…
