By the way, you can kara throw f.MK, but you don’t quite plink it, you delay it 1-2 frames and then hit throw.

And you can do a great kara demon off of it as well, although how useful that would be I’m not sure.

yeah i agree.his S.HP kara throw is near ken range.
Has anyone figured out E.Ryus safe jump timing?
I was trying ryus same timing but doesnt seem to work for E.Ryu

I’ve been using strong srk for AA,but make sure you do it from crouching with the shortcut.

I find that fierce DP beats more than strong DP. It may just be me.

It’s fucking awesome, I was able to land it a bunch yesterday on players of various skill level. Who knows how long that will be the case though.

Actually, his f.mk and s.HP kara throws are roughly the same distance, so it really boils down to personal preference.

But which is closer to Ken’s kara throw range? Might as well use the longer one.

Also, I find that his dive kick get’s beat out pretty cleanly on wake up srk’s. Other than whiffing st.strong after forward throw, is there any other options to create safer pressure?

If your dive kick is getting beat by reversal SRKs then you arent timing it correctly

I dunno how fast his regular fireballs are frame wise, but I caught a boxer player a couple time with CH HP after they tried to turn punch through it midscreen.

I think I’ve fallen in love with light Shakunetsu, does 10 damage less than a regular fireball, but it knocks down and has a massive 200 stun. Also if you want to bait fireball reversals you can train your opponent with it then use the teleport as a fake.

(For the record, I never used Akuma, so I don’t know if this strategy was ever used before :P)

^ I use his Taunt 2 for the same purpose lol It’s a lot of fun, even though I’m still bad at it.

i think i actually traded with hp, so it may work with all 3?
