Evil has a really nice ass ~ The Doronjo Thread ~

Doronjo and Polimar is the way to go. I’m making a thread showing all the stuff they can do together and it’ll be up soon hopefully. We still need a Doronjo UAS thread though.

Doro and frank work well together, same thing goes for ryu. So far i like those to combo’s the best. I’m looking at zero possibly as well.

I used those 2 in CGoH

I am looking into Yatter 2 as well.

Yatter 2 is REALLY good with Doronjo. Has some crazy DHC stuff. Electric ball DHC into Big Ball and let the gimmicks begin. Honestly, there are so many traps and gimmicks with this team.

I’ve been maining Alex/Doronjo the past few days and they seem to make a good pair and fit my playing style. The supers don’t compliment eachother very well but it’s a good combination of close (Alex) and far (Doronjo) tactics.

I am having trouble with her level 3 super though. I can get it to hit when the opponent whiffs a super or is dizzy, of course, but the delay on the explosion makes it useless for any kind of combos. Has anyone figured out a good way to utilize it with a conscious opponent?

That’s why I use Polimar with Doronjo. The team also has the close/far combination like you said, and there’s a way to combo into her super with them.

5A, 5B, 5C, 2C, P, 623 + 2 attacks

The damage is scaled down quite a bit because you’re comboing into the super but its an easy guaranteed 22,000 damage (I think that’s how much it does off the top of my head).

There’s way more stuff to do with them but as I said before, I’ll have a thread or a mega post up soon.

Might be useful, but needs to be tested for practicality.

You can combo into bomb tree through her back grab! First set up a tree(A or B versions facing right) behind doronjo and the opponent, then try to time it right so that the opp is thrown right into the explosion. You may not get all the three hits, but here’s the cool part: the grab does not register as a hit. This means the combo actually starts at the tree explosion and the grab damage is unscaled. From there you can launch into an air combo or whatever for a nice 17-18k damage.

Currently I’m trying to find some throw set ups for it and this seem to work well for now: 2a, 2b, 5c, 3c, 214+A, 623+B, dash, 4C(backgrab)

Sounds nice, I’ll definitely try that out later.

Doronjo’s lvl. 3 super also combos with Chunli and Volnutt assist.

Yeah this is my team right now, and it’s puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure annoyance.
