in case any of you knuckleheads were wondering, forward + mk doesnt link.

since people tend to get comfortable blocking low when theyre cornered, i like to use it as an alternative to UOH. my second favorite move.

i think one of remys best moves is lp + lk, so whenever i get a chance i take advantage, especially in the corner. its pretty much what my entire offensive strategy is based around. if i can take the lead.

if i can manage that i do fine; only i can fuck things up from there. its when im forced to defend my last remaining health i lose my cool. it suddenly dawns on me they have less to lose by getting close up when my best option is poke or run.

(by then its too late)

at this point all they need is one fuck up, a transparent poke, a poorly timed dash. hell just for practice i’ll lose 3/4 health from the begining and spend 80seconds trying not to give them the rest.

why not?

its the worst case scenario remy can face. instead of denying that it happens more often than not, i say prepare for it. the sooner remy players face this fact the better off this thread will be.

hay charge ur sonik boom and then press punch AND kick that way its like inputting both and maybe a low and high one will come out

Oh, it’s cool I spoke to Pyro the today and he was able to explain what I wanted to do. It’s basically called some kind of X move, or EX Move or something like that. You do a regular LOV BUT, here’s the tricky part, you do it with TWO punches or TWO kicks…HOLY SHIT. Sorry, I realize my question was quite complicated, thanks anyways.

I’ve been working on a few setups with that move. Try doing this:

razorkick after neutral grab in ther corner. Walk back and kara jab sonc boom (charge back, neutral + hk, fwd lp). Time it so that it hits the guy meaty. He will have to block even if he’s crouching. The kara from the sonic boom puts you in perfect range to hit him with the fwd mk while he’s in blockstun. It even combos if they get hit by the sonic boom!

Yeah…I figured who you were when I saw you were from Hawaii. Good casuals we had. You gonna be at 2k7? If so I would like to get another few games of casuals in. Takes a good bit of skill to understand how to get past all those fireballs. Oh and this year I’ve got something for that Mak BS. I’m whiffing s.LP instead of s.LK so I can block SA2. :lol:

Yo i got a few questions about remy

I cant figure out the following.

How do you dash then razor kick, do you have to do a move before the dash?
How do you machine gun the LOVs in the corner, I know you can combo the EX LOVs some how.
Whats Remys best Kara to use?

1.Charge Partitioning

2.Instead of charging back,forward+P, instead do back,forward,back (immediately)+P. Gives you more of a charge for the next lov or RRF

3.mp or hk. MP’s easier for me

NO NO NO, we had a philosophical discussion about this. Being a gay pimp does NOT make you gay. He just pimps other guys to guys. According to Dagger_G, he was FORCED into gay pimping due to needed money n shit. Sad life that of those who get forced to pimp others.
