I dunno about you yet… but… as a Rachel player… I want to get THEM in the corner.
Once you do it, you’ll be like “THIS IS WHAT I’VE BEEN MISSING?!”
And then you’ll try to get them in that corner everytime… For certain characters is far more beneficial. For Rachel, your prime directive should be getting them in the corner. Cuz if they aren’t in the corner, then they can run away, and you want to be an unstoppable force of wind.
Indeed I do understand the feeling but as already seen on a few posts here it’s not like that, basicly we love fighting games, you do too, right?
Yes there are probably very good hardcore players around here and I agree that some might be the snoby kind,so what? There’s always good people too,so just stick up to yourself.
Hey the damn elitist dudes should all burn,I’m 35 and have been beaten by lvl 4’s,8’s, etc…
The thing is I really enjoy playing it, win or lose as long as it was a decent match…trying new strings, figuring out how to counter other’s cheesy moves and most importatly(and this is real fun and interesting)figuring out the playstyle of your opponent.
If you see a room on player match named “For Fun” ,join in =) I’be glad to just do some matches with you guys here.
Always trying to improve no matter what, that’s what matters, find what moves counter them cheasy ones and you’ll be melting faces soon
I’d be happy to play some of you guys on XBL… friend me and let me know the next time you’ll be around! I’m much more into sparring w/ others and talking tactics, strategies, etc than playing only to win and talking endless amounts of shit.
Well first off let me start by saying interesting thread, I wasnt expecting this on an SRK forum to be honest. A dustloop or another random forum yes.
Ive noticed this a lot to whenever I join player matches I get kicked almost immediately but now that Im lvl 12, I dont get kicked as often. Even though my win/loss ratio is horrible. I jumped right on to PSN without even learning the game mechanics, so what do you expect lol. Im still in the learning process of combos, but I just hate the fact that when youre a lower level people kick you from the game and then when you meet them in ranked matches the same people get beat by you. Not bragging in anyway so dont take it as such.
I would love to get matches with people, even at a way higher skill level than me. Because video games may be serious business in the tournament world but when Im at home Im just wanting to learn the game and have fun. Not get hate mail saying Im a scrub for picking Tager vs Noel or Arakune when I cant beat someone with my other mains Jin and Ragna.
Im also on PSN most of the day since I got laid off from my job. So if youre looking for someone to play matches with most of the day just hit me up. [Currently working on getting a microphone as well, us poor people cant afford video games lol.]
Wow I should check SRK more often lulz. AzNsquirrelX I’ve talked with you in the Dustloop Casual room multiple times and you never asked me of the request. I’ll be glad to record one of your matches against someone or even against me if you want and upload it to youtube for you if you still want.
I’m a pretty decent noel. I have learned all the comob’s for her and I can assure you that they are hard to pull off, do I use them? heck no, it’s instinct now for me to go to BnB combo’s with Noel.
I’m looking to play against a good Haku-men player, I need to learn how to avoid a few things with him. I might be playing against a rachel and Haku coming up in my tourny. I have to find my opponent first…he is running away from me, he won’t accept the invite so I can beat him.
I find there are a lot of people who will call you “scrubby” or whatever term you may use and want nothing to do with you because you take a lot of their time up and they only want to focus on getting better and not helping others get better…that is the general consensis around gaming community, it’s really serious a lot of the time…or atleast I think so.
I’m currently a level 31 Noel main and my win/loss ratio is horrid. I enjoy the game and by no means am going to cry if I don’t hit 50%. I enjoy the game and enjoy the community…which is a huge part of me enjoying it.
If you want to add me for tips and tricks on how to avoid noel’s combo’s pretty simple stuff that I can teach you.
