Hey Laugh, how much time until you restock Taeyoung sticks?

I need one (the one with the hardest rubber pad) for a project I’m working on right now.

I have a question about the wooden PS2 k-stick etokki sells. Does it work with the inPin convertor?

Hey sorry if this has been mentioned a million times, but I really don’t want to go through like 40 pages of posts.

Anyways I recently ordered the Xtokki 360 converter ( http://etokki.com/Xtokki360 ) and before I ordered I heard that it is a pretty top notch converter.
However I just heard from someone that this converter has a problem reading R2 and L2 inputs correctly and that you have to mash it to get the input out.
Can anyone confirm this as true or false? I would be extremely disappointed if this was true. :frowning:

Thats somewhat the case for ps2 dualshocks because of the analog sensitivity on the trigger buttons. You need to push them all the way down for them to register. I recommend getting a psone controller.

Are Playstation pads just as good as P22 pads? I honestly haven’t used one in so long I wouldn’t know.

In my opinion Psone controllers are way better than Ps2’s. All the buttons are digital versus the ps2 controller being pressure sensitive.

I’m pretty sure that they do. You might check the converter compatibility thread, it gives a comprehensive look at what doesn’t work, but from what I recall, the PS2 Saulabi boards work with the Inpin.

i asked laugh about this awhile back when i ordered my wooden box stick. he told me that it does not work with a vast majority of convertors

I just have to say, the korean stick bat tops look slick, that said, I rarely see it mentioned but are the bat tops of korean sticks removable? are they interchangeable? (crown bat tops into taeyong into myoungshin). more so, will it fit in japanese stick shafts? (JLF and LS friends)… i think i just might go for the Crown CWJ303N just for the clear battops alone hehe

The tops on K-sticks are permanently attached to the shaft. If you want to take them off, you have to remove the entire shaft.

ahh, thanks, glad to know! on my way to try out Ksticks soon

Incidentally, here’s a picture I took for frame of reference a while ago

far left = taeyoung, center = myoungshin, far right = crown cwl305. (also, iL eurojoystick (happ super), sanwa jlf, seimitsu ls-32-01, iL compact (happ competition) in the other spots)

Hi guys, i like to know, if someone knows if a Korean Stick will fit in the old HRAPs, or in the Madcatz Round 1 sticks, all my life i play in IL Joysticks, and i dont feel 100% confortable in the Japanese, now i like to try a Korean Joystick, what do you think is the best option for me? I play mostly KoF games…

If you like the iL, try the new Crown fantas. I would say that is the closest to feeling like the iL.

They can fit into TEs and HRAPs, but they do not mount to the stock mounting brackets in those sticks.

Korean sticks won’t fit in those without modifying the case. There are some custom cases that will accommodate those sticks, and Laugh said earlier that he is working with Crown to produce a new stick that will fit in any stick with a standard japanese mounting plate, but that’s for the future.

My new custom for TTT2…caseby Nitewalker, Artwork by Kid Kaos…New Crown Fanta style stick, and red screw in Sanwas with Clear plunger…the iside is a bit of a mess due to the pre wired ps360+ I had the solder points broke off so I wired it myself…up and running though and I love it…

Any ideas on what the Omni Korean Revision 3 changes are? Still no news on stock I see… :frowning:

yeah. ive been checking their site for almost 2 weeks straight now. Really been itching to have this stick even before Tekken Tag 2 was released. Any updates Laugh? :frowning:

No matter what buttons I hold down when I plug it in ps3 says unknown USB device and my computer does not recognize it either. Anybody have any ideas?

Not sure if this is the right topic to ask this, but the original wired controller I used to get my Xconverter to work has broken. Can I buy a cheap, third-part one or does Xconverter only work with the original Microsoft wired controller?
