the fact that it looks like a vshg mod is actually a selling point imo, seeing as the pcb has issues on the vshg and the thing is rare as fuck.

theres only one on ebay at the moment and its 200, im hoping the price of these sticks are reasonable. well even at 200, this “clone” would be worth the money as opposed to something thats quite old

I’ve been informed that some people were speculating that the prototype photos I posted was just a modded VSHG.

Those that got to see the stick in person will know that’s not true, but it does saddens me that some people think I would lie about such a thing. However, I will take it as a compliment that people thought it looked close enough to the VSHG to be mistaken.

I’m sure all speculation will end when more photos are released.

I saw your photos and VSHG didn’t even come into my mind, not even after you mentioned it.

It’s still work-in-progress, but it’s near completion now. When I return from my tournament trip in California, I can finalize the design and bring out more details and photos for everyone.

In the meantime, I’ll be here to address any questions or suggestions about our stick in development.

For those of us who hate 8 button on the top, It might be a good idea to put two 30mm holes on the right hand wall of the stick. That way anybody that plugs the 2 right holes can move the buttons to the right hand side for menu navigation.

I have finally received my order today, thank you laugh! Everything is fine except one thing: the Taeyoung Fanta. There are many (!) scratches everywhere on the plastic. Even under the metal plate. I don’t think that it was caused by the transport, since the Myoungshins look and feel fresh and flawless. It looks like a minor manufacturing fault, nothing too serious, but still annoying. Also, when I move the Taeyoung to the left (any other direction does the same, just for example) and let it slide back to neutral, it stays a bit on the left. Moving to the left a second time is much smoother and easier. But when I move it to the opposite direction, it feels very stiff first, then the rubber disengages suddenly and bends - it feels smooth again. After letting it back to neutral though, it still stays a bit on the opposite direction… Compared to the Myoungshin, the overall quality of the Taeyoung seems to be lower. However, I still haven’t played on it yet - I have to do that first before thinking about any modifications.
But this has nothing to do with you or your shop, laugh. I’m really pleased with the other parts, especially the blue PCB feet, which seem to be REALLY handy. They made me happy :D!

Thanks Laugh, but one more question about the Joytron Arcade stick. I want to use Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons, but I was wondering if I needed to do anything special to the board or any type of soldering. Since the stock buttons that come with that push pad and the Sanwa buttons have the prongs.
