This game doesn’t exactly have a wiki. The move inputs are just regular inputs though, you don’t need to read Japanese to see QCF+A.
Ah, actually it seems the link in the OP is outdated and leads to an older version of the game/movelists. This is the current homepage, make sure you download the game from here:
Alcotts damage is redonkulous after messing around for an hour.
j.D 5B 5C 2C j.B does 3.5k by itself.
I’m having a hard time with the configurations for this game. Anyone mind explaining how I can set the health to regen for training mode? For reasons I don’t understand, I can’t even set options in training mode due to start not working and such.
Currently trying to learn Qoora and I’m actually liking her but she has some mad range…eeeesh.
Qdora*
I don’t know all of the options, but I’ll list what I do know (I assume you downloaded version 1.00 and not the one from the OP):
- Starting Position
- ???
- Health Regen
- Health
- Guard Bar
- Super Meter
- The green bar (what does it do??? ;_
- ???
- ???
- ???
- ???
- Input Display
- ???
- ???
- I think this lets you assign the training dummy to 2P
- Stand/Crouch/Jump
- Guard None/All/Random/After First Hit/Guard then Jump/etc.
- ???
- Air Tech None/Forward/Neutral/Back/Random
- Ground Tech ^same
- Counterhit Default/On/Fatal/Random
- Slow Motion (actually pretty awesome)
- Show Hitboxes
- ???
- Game Options
- I have no goddamn idea
- Character-Specific Stuff (Qdora’s lightning is #4)
- Don’t know what any of this is either
- Character Select
- Command List
- Title Screen
Ummm…I think I’m seeing something different from what you have listed unless there’s a way to open options while in training mode because if so, I don’t know how to. I have my start/select buttons set but nothing happens when I press them. The only options I can get to is from the main menu. ~ _~
Oh yeah, I’m using the latest build from the updated site (Not the one in the OP link)
You open the menu with Start, and Select should reset the position, so you probably set them incorrectly or the game is just bugging out on you. Did you use the config that came with the game, or joy2key or something?
Someone should figure out how the online works so we can actually play games.

I’m using Xpadder as of right now. I mostly just changed my D-pad settings to WASD and my attack keys and changed my start/select to 1 & 2 key.

You CAN map your controller, you know. It’s the configure tool in the game folder. Opening it with AppLocale will help you understand what is what, but all you really need are directions and ABCD start+select.
Hmmm…is there anyway to set it back to default. I mean, all of my other stuff works just not start & select.

Just run config.exe in the E’s Laf folder, clink on the third tab to configure buttons.

Don’t forget the Fatal button. I still can’t believe they put such a thing into the game, but if it’s there, we gotta use it.

I had no idea such a thing existed or what it was. That’s kinda lame, although I’m sure it’s not broken.

Dunno. Being able to create a FC in the middle of a combo sounds pretty broken to me. It seems like an easy road to 3-meter touch of death, especially since the game has very high damage as is.

Well you can create fatals in the middle of combos in Persona too with the overhead, plus with one more cancel/burst damage gets incredibly stupid in that game as well. I think the damage scaling system in this game works damn well and will most likely prevent touch of death combos, seeing as how I can a really hard time breaking 4k with Tae even with 4 meter.

Maybe so. It all depends on how the proration works, and we obviously don’t know that yet. FC mid-combo might not even be a real thing, if counter hit status only matters on the starter. I was just assuming it works the same way as Arcsys games.
The P4A example isn’t really accurate though. AoA’s have 1000 P2 so even if you found a way to combo into them, it would make it almost impossible to continue, at least for any real damage. It’s way different than getting the ability to add FC to any random 5B abare. If you could do that in P4A, you’d be seeing 7k-8k combos as the norm.

Well even with fatals I just barely managed to get over 4k using 2 meter with Tae, so I don’t think it’s going to be that serious. It’ll probably come down to more optimization of WHAT to Fatal, but I don’t see it making the damage any more drastic than it is without it. If your character does 3k damage they might go up to 4k, if your character does 5k they might go up to 6k. I don’t think it’ll make someone who does 2.5k do 5k.
Okay, finally got it to work. All of that installing and reinstalling though…oh well…
Hopefully, I’ll have something up for Qdora by the next few days if things dont go wrong during that time.
By the way, if you play Elsa/Chie, you should really check out Serena. Bitch has seriously scary pressure and oki from what I’ve seen (though oki doesn’t seem like a big deal in this game).
Welp, made a different thread because I didn’t know this one existed. Game seems to have made more progress very recently, looks like the guy/team/whatever behind it have been grinding it out since December. Game now has 11 characters as well as a palette editor and online.
I’d have merged it, but we can’t seem to be able to merge threads in this new software (or we haven’t figured it out yet).
