If i lock in a choke whether it be a windpipe or a blood choke there is a difference in reaction. Windpipe you have no air coming in. Bloodchoke the bloodflow to the brain is cut off.

When you see the cops constantly checking for a pulse it is because he had none. The emt not doing anything was because he was dead on the scene. You can see he is dead because normally a choked out person produces snoring noises when laid not not gurgling and then silence.

I mean, this country is still at a point that, unless it happens to a white girl, or a white guy does it (Elliot rodgers was half white, but the media focused on his whiteness, and so did every hashtag movement that came after it), who the fuck cares.
Everyone knows the game is rigged, and that is what creates this apathy. Well planned, well fucking planned, even centuries later.
I would say once again, at the very least we can all do is educate ourselves more on history and social issues as much we can, and pass that knowledge around to our friends, family, and loved ones, regardless of possible resistence. Hell, strangers too. We cannot allow one another to walk around without at least sympathy and an understanding for where we have been, and where we are now. Ignorance is only a temporary bliss that we have enjoyed for a long time, but we may not be so lucky in the future, even in my lifetime.
Offtopic, but its funny how the majority of aetheist ive come across online and offline are some of the most apathetic people ever, to the point that they do not even follow the news, or care. This world, this life, is just some blip to take advantage of until they “die”, as if they have any actual proper concept or understanding of death. Last i read, there is no death theory out there from the scientific community, but i digress. I mean unless you think consciousness is just some emergent behavior of the brain, that once it cease to exist, so does your eternal existence, but then again, what is the brain made out of, what is that matter made out of, how does all of the physics behind that work/how deep does the rabbit hole go, and what stays and what goes.
