Well, the villain of the game is none other than Oswald, Walt’s first creation before Mickey. So expect the final boss battle to be Mickey Vs. Oswald.

Indeed it has. The gameplay description makes it sound like a puzzle/platformer mix which is pretty interesting. Curious on how Mickey’s going to look like (if anything, I’d expect a little more warped version of his Steamboat Willie era look).
I’m hoping for Okami caliber visuals in the restoration of worlds.
Good for Phantom Blot that he’s one of the main bad guys. He is an original villain created for the Mickey Mouse comic strip by Floyd Gottfredson (the Mickey Mouse Carl Barks equivalent - Carl Barks is responsible for 90% of what you saw on Duck Tales, that show was based on his Uncle Scrooge comics). They continue to use Phantom Blot in Mickey Mouse comics today. Phantom was featured once on Duck Tales and a few times on House of Mouse. In the comics he is a person wearing a mask (said to look like Walt Disney) but it seems like this game will depict him as an actual ink stain. Pretty cool!
