To state that this thread isn’t biased, why all the negativity and ‘proof’ that you so kindly made available and linked? I don’t believe I came across anything positive about EA in this entire thread.

You sure have have a lot to say (mostly negative… based on your ‘research’) about EA that everyone can clearly see that there is some sort of agenda behind it. Nothing about the numerous world records members broke, nothing about the numerous tournaments members won, nothing about the variety of their members (some who aren’t known for their elite gaming skills but skills in other areas)

You are quick to quote and defend everything everyone has posted and replied to on this thread… there is no questioning it.

You want more info? How about talking to the members off the scene? The ones who you don’t see videos of, or live in NY? There are many of them out there, representing EA, attended majors and etc…

I say this: What ever happens between said member(s) is between them and TriForce. It is none of the public’s business what happens behind the scenes. It invokes drama that escalates to even more drama and people joining in who haven’t the slightest clue.

I don’t know what is true and what isn’t, nor do I care unless I’m in some way, shape, or form affiliated with whatever issue is being addressed. I myself am a member of Empire Arcadia since 2004. I’ve been treated good and even though I never been to the arc or lived in NY, I’m respected for what I do (have done) outside of EMP. I didn’t join because of so and so, I was into the preservation of the gaming culture in the US and I wanted to contribute to that. I’ve seen the contract, was offered and contract, and etc… so it does exist. No one if forced to do anything they don’t want to do. I’m sure Mike and Sanford can attest to that too. If they didn’t like how they were being treated, do you think they wouldn’t have left? People go where the opportunity to grow takes them. Obviously there are more opportunities in CA than NY and when it was offered to them, they took it.

Saotome already said this, but I’m not a mod on these forums… either fix it and make it more ‘unbiased’ or this thread will be closed.

I’m not defending, protecting, speaking for or against anyone inside/outside EA or anything like that. Just wanted to give my 2¢ on the topic at hand. Don’t bother quoting me because I won’t reply to it and will probably just get this stupid ass thread closed.

rather than accepting your article has flaws, you completely dodge the statement (much like how you say that EMP members dodge questions on rent). like someone else mentioned, you rationalize like a conspiracy theorist. is your favourite radio show host alex jones? how often do you change the tinfoil hat?

I don’t really have any stake in this, but the fact that everyone’s hating on Tri-Force for writing up his epilogues and prologues and having fun with what he’s doing is stupid. We’re playing games, guys. It’s not supposed to be deathly serious. Look at SRKs front page. You have some haters hating on that guy with the rapping intros for EVO and some who like it and got hype. I just feel like too many people hate on something that in my opinion, is pretty entertaining. At the end of the day homies, it’s just games.

The fact that nobody in “The Empire” can explain wtf it actually does is pretty hilarious. It is more of a cult than anything else - it certainly isn’t a legitimate business.

If Empire members want to defend it all they have to do is explain what the hell the business model of the Empire is, why it exists and why it makes sense to join it. In a half-decade or so nobody has been able to do that.

From the outside looking in it’s pretty obviously a weird old guy taking advantage of young kids who don’t know any better. If the Empire is something more than suckers giving money to a guy wearing a powerglove so he can make rent it should be pretty easy to show that.

Damn, I think I killed Shinjo’s SRK career. Haven’t he ever heard of the phrase IF IT AIN’T GONNA KILL YOU, IT’S GONNA MAKE YOU STRONGER? Guy got exposed for trying to expose. If I was a mod, i’d sooo put this “The young and the restless” type drama on the front page of SRK. Someone should archive this thread and title it:
