Matriarch:
It really depends on how one defines being male. What if someone defines their masculinity outside of their genitalia? Would castration still emasculate them? It might emasculate them in the perception of other people, but perhaps not themselves. This would mean emasculation is a matter of perception, which goes back to my original statement. You cannot prevent others from seeing you as emasculated, but you can prevent yourself from being emasculated with how you perceive the concept of maleness.
As for your second point, note there is a difference being the male sex and the male gender. Someone who is sexually female could still have a male gender and be emasculated.
On a side note, I find it interesting how ‘effeminate’ (the female counterpart of ‘emasculate’) means to become feminine, not rob or reduce in femininity. Losing maleness was obviously more of a concern than losing femininity.
No, it doesn’t. Emasculation, literally, means to physically remove the penis and testicles. Castration is the removal of the testicles only. It has nothing to do with definition of gender, or your genes, or whatever you “identify” as.
Emasculation has nothing to do with gender roles. If you remove a man’s genitals, you are in the realest sense making them less of a man. There’s nothing proverbial about it.
“Effeminate” is not the female equivalent of “emasculate”. There is no official term used to describe making someone less of woman.
Keep your damn agenda to yourself.
A lot of women think Fabio and Prince are “hot” and “sexy” they can do what ever cause they’ve had more pussy then the average male

Just popping in here to reiterate that there are two genders, mutants, and crazy people.
Why is it that masculinity is typically measured in how much violence we can cause and how aggressive we can be?
Please don’t let society define your gender identity for you, Pro tip: You’ll never measure up to it, no matter how hard you try.

Alas, even the medical dictionaries have now made the two terms equivalent. Apparently removal of the penis and testicles is somehow just as emasculating as removal of the testicles alone.
So be it. The English language has fallen to you.
All this talk about junk removal made me think of something. What would be worse?
Having a dick and no balls
Or
Having balls and no dick
I mean like with the first option you can still have sex and all that, but it would just be an infinite loop of “almost there”. But with the second option you have balls but you can’t do anything with em because your dick got cut off.
This thread isn’t going anywhere since the matriarch vs wasted matchup just ended it looks like. So lets debate this for awhile.

I think having balls and no dick would be worse because then you’ve got a big sweaty hairy sac with no function.
You can still nut with no balls, just can’t make babies…not that you will want to since your desire to procreate will probably leave you once you have been deprived of your precious testosterone.
How can you nut if your body can no longer produce sperm? Also agree with the testosterone thing. Forgot about that part.

i imagine its not much different than how guys with vasectomies can still blow a load
Because that stuff that comes out of your smelly little dick isn’t all sperm.
Didn’t they find a way to castrate women in the middle east though?
