Hi all. I recently purchased an Elgato Game Capture HD recording device but I’m kind of concerned that there is an audio issue with it. Basically, when I have my headphones plugged into my PC (I have a 3.5mm cable going from my monitor to my sound card -> Outputting headphone from my sound card) I can hear like a helicopter noise in the headphones. When I check recorded videos, I can’t seem to notice it but when I’m actually playing any game, I can hear a he;icopter or humming noise. I tried removing the 3.5mm cable from my monitor and outputting the audio through the monitor, the audio issue did go away but this isn’t convenient for me as I’d like to record commentary along with my videos so I’d need headphones and mic plugged into my PC. I’ve tried multiple headphone sets, they all exhibited the same results. So is there any way to solve this? Thanks.
