I think it was more of a straw that broke the camel’s back type of situation. Things have been brewing thanks to…well, damn near EVERYTHING has been some sort of gloom and doom for the past few decades. I know people don’t want to hear me blame the media, but I feel that if it hadn’t been for their constant sensationalism of every little piece of trash TV that this whole thing would’ve taken years to blow if it even happened then. Speaking of things blowing up…
Dear Antifa Pukes: Stay in your block. We don’t give warnings, we give consequences.

Media is to blame too. You rarely ever hear anything positive and what you do hear is depressing and overly sensationalized.

MY issue overall is the fact that a profession that is meant to protect and serve, is breaking the trust all people have in law enforcement by using reckless force upon someone who was already apprehended and only accelerated his death. There’s a lot of issues Floyd seemed to have health wise…but putting a knee on his neck didn’t help.
for lack of a better way to put it, controversy is sexy. Because of that, Black/white/brown/etc don’t matter. Only color that matters is green…sometimes at the cost of red.
Joe’s chances seem a bit better now (not that I would vote for him) but best hope he doesn’t say more wacky things.

Uncle Joe not say something wacky? I don’t think we’ll get out of this month before he screws that pooch.
…Dear God I hope not literally…

At this rate, POTUS will likely beat him to it

As I said. Mired in bullshit. No justice will happen, or injustice will happen.

At least we got memes during these times.

Floyd tested positive for CoVid on April 3rd.
Checks date.
Any reason why this is relevant two whole months later?

Dunno - ask NBC. They deemed it necessary. I just see it as yet another layer of obfuscation that in a sane world would just mask the truth and watch the guy walk. In this world, however, it’s all ultimately fruitless as the dude’s gonna swing no matter the truth, just to prevent more riots.
Although, let’s face it - if/when he’s convicted, there’ll be riots of celebration instead.

Are these Generals speaking out about POTUS crying liberal tears or nah?
Let me preface this by saying:There are shitty cops out there and racism exists in some form between all races. There’s echo chambers of shit opinions/takes all along the political spectrum. The world isn’t black and white; there’s many shades of gray. With that said these videos have some good points.

Black on Black Crime is basically a deflection (e.g., All Lives Matter)
Yes, those are good points, but there is no need to conflate the two issues. They are not the same problem and don’t have the same solution.
EDIT - Just realized after watching she titled the video “Confession: I DO NOT support George Floyd and I refuse to see him as a martyr. But I hope his family receives justice.”
Of course you can’t. . . . .he’s dead.
POTUS is full of it. Seriously, how are some of you OK with this?

It speaks volumes that an active POTUS had to fuck up so badly while basically having an election in his pocket months prior, that a candidate from the opposing party starts looking better, while still being a shitty option (you an’t black, shoot them in the leg, kids jump on my lap)
FFS, how did American politics turn into such a clownfiesta in just under 5 years?

It wasn’t just 5 years. America has been under inept and/or corrupt leadership for decades. When was the last time a president handled a crisis particularly well? Kennedy with the Bay of Pigs? Reagan might be able to slip in, but his overall policy was so shit that we’re still paying for it. The 2 party system doesn’t produce leaders, only followers.

Rogan brought up a point that i kinda agree with.
Perhaps we’ve just outgrown the position. Maybe we shouldn’t give one person so much power and influence if you clearly don’t need any qualifications or proof of competence.

I have to give Derek Chauvin one credit: he became the most hated man in America in less than 10 minutes. Going for the speed run here, it seems.
It’s been a clownfiesta. Only with the Election of Trump did the make up finally get slapped off some faces.
