Wrong
What you advocate does not provide options, it simply forces people into situations that may not even benefit them.
I dont get a choice when it comes to medicare, I have to pay for it, even if I never use it. The government forces me to oay for a service I may never even use or want to use.
Additionally, all your ideas for state sponsored healthcare, would force me to participate at the threat of gun point because I would have to pay for the service. Wheter or not I want to use the service, state sponsored healthcare would force my hand as a private individual into participation. This by definition removes the entire premise of free market principles from this aspect of the economy. Being forced into a contract and or service isnt more options. And depending on my income level, it outright robs me of options and punishes me because it forces me into a service I may not need nor want, but have no say in the matter. So how is that more options?
These are very basic economic principles, and I’m having a very hard time understanding why you arent aware of, or lack the basic understanding of them.
Secondly, sanders by definition wants to integrate the state into the economy, which always results in state monopoly over said services. Because the state will. Ot allow private firms to compete once it secures revenue.
Me calling sanders what he is, a socialist, isnt dismissing anything. Its calling him what he is, and that people signaling to you that they dont want state sponsored bullshit because they see the cancer that it is.
As for corporate greed, or whatever that’s supposed to mean. Your solution, would only shift power from private companies to state monopolies. These are the worst kind of monopolies, because you are forced to not o ly fund them, you’re stuck with them no matter how shitty they are. As it becomes impossible to compete with the entity that not only has secured its revenue via laws, its authorized to used violence if it feels threatened. Again, these are basic ideas in political science, so why am I having to explain them to you
