The DNC had decent choices at the start and all we are left with is a senile vat of nostalgia.

I blame the sheer volume of candidates on stage spoiling the big picture for everybody involved. If wack options like Steyer, Bloomberg, Booker, O’Rourke, Castro, Klobuchar, Harris never were up there, I think the polling results for the rest of the filed would’ve been much better. And unfortunately the cycle proceeded too slowly with filtering them out

Unless of course the VP pick is somebody else entirely, which broadens the options to…like…dozens of candidates, I dunno exactly how many female senators there are. Or if any of the male runners does a gender swap operation

Because the focus of his resignation and the focus pivot on which the media lambasted him was “mean” words. Its some of the most absurd homo shit imaginable that words have more impact than ac4ual negligence.

Thats the Top brass for you, to save their own face they will court martial or force the resignation of good officers who decides to whistle blow dumb-shit for the good of the men and women of their command.

This has been a major, major issue of the Pentagon for a long ass time.
Remember the Pentagon has 3 Trillion dollars (over the course of many years) they can not account for. How do you lose 3 Trillion? I can understand a few hundred not accounted for, petty cash adds up.

Its kind of a stupid but same time “necessary” thing for certain positions.

The thing is you have 1 person on board a ship and only 1 person who knows how to do X, and that one person has to be on call 24/7. The 18 hour shift is that person’s shift with 6 hours to rest (yes I know it’s not enough), and they do this 6 or 7 days a week. And depending on the mission parameters they would have that same guy do 20 or even 22/23 hour shifts giving the guy an hour or two to sleep, and he has no choice but to take his meals at his workstation (and is dependent on people bringing food and water to him).

The smart thing is to have that position to have at least 2 or more people who can do X so they can have proper rotations. But they don’t because it can cost thousands if not millions of dollars to train a person in X, and its hard to find people who can be qualified for the job. Plus naval ships don’t have much space, so living quarters are crapped.

So instead of giving that one guy just the 18 hour shift (with relief so the dude can sleep and recover), they put everyone on 18 hour schedules, which makes no sense. Unless you are at battle stations with all hands on deck, you don’t need 18 hour shifts. A 2 or 3 shift duty roster works better. A 3 shift duty roster would give everyone 8 hours of work with plenty of time for rest and recuperation.
Hell if you got the personel, make it a 4 shift rotation with 6 hours of work time.

But The brass is stubborn as they are stupid.

I dont think the endorsements meant as much as you would like to think. I was just listening to NPR, Air talk Larry Mantle, and the guest said that it was the Black WOMAN vote that gave Biden the crushing victories in the south. I looked at the demographic, and hes right. Women pushed and forced Biden down everybodies else throat. This stated the chain reaction that is inevitability.

Biden is going to choose warren btw. Hes going to try and wine and dine the “leftist” vote. But if we are being honest, Sanders had the MALE left vote, bot the female vote like warren did.

I think this is the first election that’s completly driven by the woman vote.
