Grocery stores are harder to clock since getting more or less stuff on sale can change the price of your take quite a bit. But this is a case of them kicking people off for price gouging, then price gouging themselves.

I do 95% of the grocery shopping for my household, so I know what to expect and prices are definitely up. For comparison, this was more than I spend on Thanksgiving (and Thanksgiving is my jam so I cut no corners).
That said, the store staff were sanitizing like crazy, so I hope the extra scratch makes its way down to them.
