I played my first Final Fantasy way before your first Final Fantasy (FF1, shortly after it was released in the US).

My problem is with the movie-whoring, not with the game (as in the game part) themselves.

CC is not a real Final Fantasy, in the same way that Final Fantasy Adventure and Final Fantasy Legend were not real Fantasy Fantasy games (FFA was Seiken Densetsu, FFLs were SaGa games).

If it plays anything close to Seiken Densetsu 2 with the mutlitap, then it has potential of being a top tier game.

Newsflash: Chrystal Chronicles and Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu (Sword of Mana for you) were NOT developed by Square Enix. CC was developed by a Nintendo team and Seiken Densetsu 2 and 3 were developed by a team that is no longer part of Square.
And I respect the modern Enix more than the modern Square, BTW.
