Some characters like Sim and Dan have weird crumples that you have to wait a little bit into the animation to start it. I’ve never had that problem with fei though, you might be waiting to long to start your RSF??
just tested it out in training mode… i was just doing something wrong
it works normally.

you shouldn’t. you could buffer DP or 2xqcf and then press KKK or (late) LP+LK on reaction

In my experience a person who never jumps is normally a ST player.
Quick question but does anyone know why you cant link f.mk to c.lk on rufus if you c.lk too fast. It seem he loses some of his lower hitbox when hes hit for some reason. If anyone needs ill post a video of it, and sorry if this is in the wrong place.
Yep. Those guys have their footsie game as solid as steel. To be able to beat them, you have to be very good with your normals. However, if you can bait their pokes, a quick Tortilla will convince them to change their game plan.
Rufus’ hitbox is very strange and causes me all sorts of issues like this unfortunately. I don’t like fighting him.
today i fought boxer and i noticed he was doing safe jump ins on my wake up…my ex dash would not come out…does ex dash have a slow start up time or is it safer for me to block?
Why shouldn’t you option select? I don’t understand your post really. Is it possible to OS Guacamole?
Its generally safer to block. But im not sure why your EX run wouldnt be coming out. The runs all have 0 frame startup. Whenever that happens to me i just assume im inputting it a touch late.
I could be wrong though. Someone with better knowledge of the game mechanics in general might be able to help you a bit more.

This usually happens to me when I am doing the motion too early. It’s usually when I change from a laggy TV to playing in the arcade or something.
Oh, I’m sorry, thanks for the link.

I’ve been watching a lot of fuerte vids that date back to 2008 to as early as feb 2009. Seeing them do overheads into lp’s,** it seems fuerte’s jabs came out at a quicker rate than it is now right? I’ve been trying to do a series of jabs and they seem to come out fairly slower than what I saw in those vids. is his lp his quickest jab?** f mk into slow lp’s doesn’t feel quick enough for me.
Is it a good idea to f mk into a grab? What about f mk, jab, jab, grab? it seems to be working on my newby friend i played last night, except it doesn’t work when i’m jabbing while he’s crouching as the grab whiffs.

I dont recall the LP being slowed down that tells me the fault here is you should do the F+mk Earlier/farther away. I’ve had some success with Grab after F+mk, especially after they caught a LP block string or two.
Grab can get crouchers, Reason why you are missing grab on a croucher: You are doing the grab while they are in block stun.
Check the frame data, but I believe crLP/crLK is his fastest normals
f+mk to LP block string to Grab is actually really good.
