Is it possible to stop your run into a Guacamole Leg Throw? I face my friend’s Rufus, and they tend wake-up Snake Strike. I stopped getting hit by them as much but I’d like to punish them with the Ex Leg Throw (which I found always beats it, sometimes the regular ones will trade or lose).

I made some pretty wicked chili sin carne tonight.

I was reading these forums and found some text that I saved but haven’t tested.

It works. It’s not even that difficult to do. THANKS BUKTOOTH! (and Paper and Brainz)

Anyone else having a hard time doing EX run on wake-up? It’s one of his best tools but for some reason I usually get a regular run. Is this one of those abnoxious ignored inputs?

Yes. Try to input it as late as possible and it should work.
Yeah, you really have to do it as you are getting up, took me a while to get used to it.
ex run is your friend! just try to keep a distance if u can.
I own with El. Half the time. Once i score a knockdown its over, they can’t guess what i do and they get grabbed, pressed, etc.
The other half i can’t get in. My question is, what are good ways to get in with El?
I only that crouching HP is his best anti-air and f+MK is great to link to grab.
Hey so i have been wondering for sometime, but why is El Fuerte so low on the tier list? Is he really that bad? I really like playing him, but with him being so low it make me question if I should really main him or not.

His only damaging combo is the RSF. which is difficult to do. Otherwise his damage is very low.
El Fuerte has low stamina, his room for error is small. which makes what follows below a big deal.
El Fuerte has a lot of slow normals, this makes it easier to pressure him with block strings as well as on his wake ups
besides FA Crumple, Ultra can be landed only when an opponent makes a poor jump-in or high recovery move. several characters like Ryu and Cammy have moves that alter their airborne trajectory, thus negating an opportunity for big damage, something a high tier like Ryu doesnt have to worry about as he has several ways to land the ultra.
He has some moves that are useless, namely Target Combo, and Gordita Sobat
Fuerte doesn’t suck. But he just has to work for his wins far more then high tiers have to.
God I’m such a scrub, I don’t understand crossovers at all… What does it mean when I’m getting SRK’d/Ultra’d out of my crossovers? I’m talking elbow, tortilla, everything. Any tips on getting the timing right? thanks
edit: also I have trouble getting the right spacing to connect the elbow as a cross over, usually it will look like it’s going to hit them but it whiffs anyway, it’s pretty bad against skinnier characters like the shoto’s, vega, ect.
Sup guys. Does Fuerte have any safe ways to deal chip damage? Is Habanero Splash safe if done from a certain range?
:u: Dude above me, it means your x-up wasn’t tight OR your opponent got auto-correct with an invincible reversal. I am sure Fuerte has set-ups similar to Viper, where he:
can time and space his stuff correctly in such a way to hit dps and such on their backside as they are rising and have lost their start-up invinc; and doesn’t Fuerte have start-up invinc on his dpKK? I think some guys use this to actually grab ppl out of dps after the invinc collision has ended, but I am not 100% sure and it is hella advanced
Takes experience with learning that timing and spacing, but I am sure there is a model Fuerte around on these boards to learn from. Check the vid thread.
Fake safe tortilla
hello…i’m new here n already watch brainz vid n there he can pull out a FAKE SAFE TORTILLA into a crossup HP…may i know how did he do it???
i’m really curious about it…thx before for reply my question.
Just runback, stop with LP, and then jump towards the person, if you get the distance right you can land an HP that will cross-up. It just looks kind of like a Tortilla and fools most people.
wooohhoooo…just simple as that heh??ok2…thx a lot for the info man!!! i gonna try learn it.

There is an entire stickied thread about how to perform the RSF. If you still have problems after reading that, you can ask in there.
