So yeah, I’m sure you guys have read through this already. But what are your thoughts? Do you think giving El Fuerte a more traditional outfit like the ones editted here look cooler for him?
I could understand the alternate costume. but I look at the edits here and I cant help but think “Hey! that looks freakin awesome!”
I kind of wish Fuerte’s alternate was a tux/suit while still wearing a mask.
I think Either work since he still keeps his mask on. making his main outfit more like a real Enmascarado, while having his cooking outfit still have his mask only enhances the power of El Fuerte
I would love it if Fuerte gets a mariachi alternate costume in super. Sure, it doesn’t fit his character, but I cant see T.Hawk getting that lol
From that blog post I like the idea of expanding the star theme, but I would still want to keep the sash. I love watching that thing whip around during RSF.
Something that has also bugged me about his regular costume: Those are feathers on his head, not a ponytail. You can see that the hair coming out from the bottom of his mask is a different color than the black feathers on top.
I used to hate his design in the beginning, but now it really grew on me, It makes him more likable for some reason (or maybe I just got used to it). I would like his main costume to remain as it is, but the other outfit (the more cool looking one) shown on the capcom unity site is very cool, I would love to have it as an alternate. I also love the tux with mask idea. I just hope capcom would give more than one alternate custome per character this time around, and for FREE!!!

I’ll add you up next time I’m online (probably tomorrow – it’s 2:05 AM right now I’m too tired haha). Granted, I’m not a Tournament Level Fuerte Player, but I’ve nailed all his moves down and I can put up a good fight. But there’s some things I need to keep learning about him, so a match sounds good. Who do you main, do you also you ELF?
Elf is a great character, but I fear now that with the new characters coming in for ssf4, he’ll be the bottom of the barrel since he isn’t as popular as the other 3 newbies. I mean, T.Hawk friggin squashed him in the preview. I just hope that Capcom does some more favors for Elf. He’s gonna need them for the new additions to the roster.

Yes I really hope Fuerte is given enough attention from capcom so that he gets improved tools to be able to compete more with the old/new characters. From a recent interview it seems that Capcom actually likes Fuerte, but I am not sure if that is enough to warrant attention to him and change him for the better.
Regarding Juri,
Not sure yet about her wake up options and how do they fare against fuerte’s mind games, but even if her spinning kick is a problem it can always be baited (hopefully) I can see her being a problem because she has dive attack and teleport, she will definitely be harder than an average matchup for Fuerte.
I will make sure I beat the heck out of all T.Hawk players for what he did in the preview!!!:arazz:
