Played a Rose player a few matches yesterday in ranked and tried a few things out. Far HK on her wake up is so good, stuffed wake up U2 a few times and caught her out of her back dashes. Mixed that up with late slides and shower kicks on wake up and was able to get that life bar down and that stun bar up really quickly. I lost the first match but was able to sustain pressure in every match after that and stunned her at least 4 times in 3 or 4 matches. Biggest thing I took away from these games is that far HK on wake up and as a mid range footsie (just out of her c.mp) are pretty damn good in this match up, stuffed a lot of drills and countered her slide as an overhead plus was able to keep perfect range to AA her jump-ins with c.HP or run back xx tostada/tortilla.
So I’m hitting up NEC XI this weekend its going to be my first big tournament I’m hyped =D

Makes sense. With a +5 on block with far HP, no one has anything faster than 2 frames to stop the far MP, since it takes 7 frame to come out, other than Honda’s U2.
I go every once in a while to Ctown fair. but people rarely play me unless I run up to them. or if it’s its my bro and cuz and friend. in which case I’m better off staying home and messing around there

Eh. People don’t play me for long because I’m either too free or because I confuse them into oblivion and/or beat them by timeout. It’s rarely a heated fight. I either toy with them completely or get smashed.
Plenty people roll their eyes while I kill the clock and taunt. Or use Tortilla or crHK with Sirlin-like repetitiveness.
I’m going to try to beat someone Splash Mountain style next time I go.

Well Fuerte is made to be a troll character. He doesn’t have any of the normal SF fundamentals. He was made completely to show that he’s breaking the engine and making a fool out of you. That’s why if you’re not perfect on your execution with Fuerte, or if you’re having a bad day, you’re going to suck. That’s why it’s difficult to play him. If you’re not at your best, it really shows.
Unless you just play terrible people all day, in which case all you have to do is qcf+mp on your opponents wakeup and watch them eat it
