Ugh not u too stop giving these guys more excuses to keep this shitty move in use y would u ever want to os qbomb when u can os run into anything and keep the pressure on instead of sending them all away across the screen. The sooner every elf forgets about this move the sooner everyone in this thread will get better.

I think I’d rather know everything I can and can’t do. I like qbomb. But I still rarely use it. I’m not looking to whore it.

Edit: I need to provide reason. As just talking about possiblites is not enough. Alot of times non-scrubs are eager to throw me. Lots of times on an opponent (intentionally) whiffed cross up, they go for throw. Ex run? There goes my meter.

Everytime I land a qbomb I feel I’ve put some tentativeness on the opponent since it’s so rarely used (and for good reason).

nah your right peru, I think that move is ass. but if you think about it. thats probably the most damage you can get off the whiff. cuz half the time when you run and try to rsf, or just roundhouse. they bounce out. so it can be a decent punish.

other than that, that move is horrific.

you gotta understand why the move is bad though lol. frame advantage isnt good at all. even at level 1.
if it was a true TAP. it would be good. at level 1 TAP, your at -2, barely anything can punish that other than a few supers. and as the levels go higher, you get less frame advantage.

qbomb is -17 on all versions. and all characters have a certain way of punishing it. so if they can let us abuse it like Sabre does with Cody’s Zonk.

and what makes it even worse is that its startup is slow, and since it launches you forward. it only has active frames as its ending. and the frame data is always indicates that things hit on the first active frame. thats why certain moves are unpunishable at certain ranges.

edit, you can get grabbed out of q bomb. it has too much start up, and its not invincible.

Trust me. Every thread I’ve made Which is concerning qbomb I’ve mentioned it’s weaknesses.

also. Meaty qbomb beats sakura ultra 2.

And YES. Qbomb should be TAP or Zonk good.

Every qbomb I use is FADC’d.

thats a waste of meter man lol. I would use q bomb towards an end of a match. over head super is ten times better. you get more comeback factor.

That S-Kill interview confirmed my thoughts. The changes listed in the blogs are not everything which is good because Fei was scaring me (meaning there could be nerfs) and there’s hope Fuerte got buffed in other areas (prays for QBomb not being situational).

Spab. Thanks for emphasizing. As that was the point I wanted to get across. It costs half meter to make qbomb, a stupid move, safe. Food for thought on how often it should be used.

It would be great be great if they toned down it’s recovery or made it safer though. Either is fine.

I think the only other changes we’ll see to Fuerte other than what has been listed will just be damage and stun tweaks to certain moves. Still, we’ll see.

Q-Bomb sucks … im just hoping they make it decent rather than a horrid move … i may use it like 1 match but other than that we will see what AE is all about … i have a feeling / hoping some other normals will improve =)

heres something that might be new to some people.
whenever Guy does his run slide and he fadc’s. you can still catch him with u2.

This untold change stuff better make fuerte stop sucking. Else he’ll be the tag partner to my Vega. His normals are just too awful at close range. I’ve never felt so free after getting knocked down like I have been this entire week.

I’ve found limited success with far HP vs Dudley. Everyone else has projectiles or can get past it’s startup. But mixing in far hp and qbomb seemed to have him confuses

Nothing I hate more then dropped inputs and eating a dp for it.

Wait. Isn’t Ryu’s light dp recovery getting increased? That light dp spam online is everyone’s favorite strategy.

Seriously though, Good info sPaB. Let’s see if this sticks when ultra two gets nerfed. It SHOULD work if the slide hits deep. But a max distance run slide would like be safe.

…be nice if we could FADC our slide. But given how amazingly far fuerte’s backdash goes it’d be a hilarious waste of meter. Eh. At least we can fadc gordita.

Found a cool os today. idk how it worked but it was during rs pressure I did overhead and buffered super (trying unhitconfirmed overhead super) but he backdashed and super came out and caught him
