I mentioned it in the shenanigans thread. Crouch roundhouse is great as a meaty on their wakeup. I also fake meaty for free throws. Easy to setup after a throw.
Close mp cancels to qbomb. But doesn’t combo. Seriously capcom.
I also like how while checking normals for my fundamentals thread a lot of them cancel to guac. Nice. =\
Also. I was able to hit Adon out of jaguar kick with crHP but it’s not consistent. Guac trades. Tortilla losing invincibility means we’ll have to counter with splash. I wonder if slide allows an escape from jaguar kick.
Also noticed HUGE difference in damage with half ultra (upper 300s) and full ultra (500) for ultra spark.
Not a very big difference between half and full for giga buster… 43x to 47x
I don’t know if you guys know this but not only can you EX Armor cancel into both Ultras, but you CAN ARMOR CANCEL INTO EX GUAC. It only costs you one EX bar (I think it’s for the EX Guac). I haven’t been able to do this on purpose. I just watched a replay I had against a Gouken to verify that I did it because it’s happened on accident once before.
If we can armor cancel guac, I wonder if we can kara cancel into other stuff as well. Densuo, see if you can armor cancel into Quesadilla Bomb.

Yeah, that’s happened to me too. You should be able to cancel into any special or ultra/super move from the armor, but I think it may only work with other EX specials.
I’ve been thinking about it, and I can’t actually see a purpose for armour cancelling into EX Guac. EX Guac is safe enough to use a wake-up corner escape on it’s own. If you try and armour cancel to make sure that you should be using it, you’re also susceptible to throws, just like with EX-run, therefore removing one of the main reasons to use EX guac. If they don’t throw you or hit you, you’d probably get a picadillo jump in the corner, which is a good escape, but you could have just done that anyway for the same risk… Nice idea, Kuma, but I don’t really see how it’s usuable. Correct me if I’m wrong, though, by all means.
Also, about the Adon match-up: Just guac on reaction when you see the wall dive animation. I can even manage that online, so it should be quite easy offline; it’s a better punish than dropkick 'cause you get a free UT Knockdown.
Armour cancel ultra? Depending on ultra, either fireball motion x2 then PP~KKK, or tatsu motion x2 then PP~KKK. I don’t know if you’d need to pump the ex run motion twice for special armour cancels, since I’ve never done them.
The button presses have to be very quick. You press two punch buttons, then immediately slide your fingers down to all three kicks to armour cancel to ultra.
have a qbomb charge, get a throw/ untechable knockdown. setup for crossup fierce. when you press fierce, let go of the charge right after. I think it can punish ex messiah. who knowss.

i was gonna post/try and put a vid up on OS Q-Bomb stuff hopefully by this weekend and show some other setups also , i have been trying to use Q-Bomb as in OS in specific matchups where it seems handy (Teleporting characters especially ! Some others that have uber weak reversal options too. ) As that crossup whiffs and youre letting go of the charge you get to auto punish … truely just follows where the opponent is trying to go and shoots them across the screen .
Everyone who plays Fuerte on XBL should get together sometime and have a lot of random fighting. It’ll be awesome, we all know it’s the best mirror match EVARS.
