Yeah, I had seen that site be4. I don’t know if its just me or they’re others that think like me; Playmore sucks when it comes to showcasing their games. The bastards start posting stuff (in game pics for example) about their games after a whole bunch of unofficial sites had done it long be4. The only thing they ussually show in their site are drawing and the game system(Correct ne if I am wrong, but I think SVC is the exception to this since its the only fighter advertise in their website that has a screenshots section).

I had (when I used to have my friends laptop. Now is gone and so is most of the stuff I download while I had it. Guess I have to start all over again. Heh) that rom SVC:chaos, I heard that the roms out there still have some minor glitches (I had heard that some charaters suppers won’t .EXE properly) but that so far its very playable(I guess we can’t complain after all cuz its free).

For those interested in getting the roms(SVC). I recommed to join a USA kaillera server and ask there. Many of them have it and Know exacly where to find the rom as well as the hacked Winkawaks that you will need to run it. I used to have the links for it but they are broken now. I guess users Overload the website bandwidth after consecutive amonuts of tons of downloads trials,
so their ISP providers crankz the owner of the website up.

I say give it about a month or so and a proper SVC rom will be out. Its kinda like when rage of the dragons first came out. It was playable but there were minor sound glitches in the game. A few months later a proper rom came out with no bugs.

Ok I cant find any servers that either have it/ aren’t going at like .0025k/s. I can say this much, Looks like you need a certain kawaks version to run it, the filename is either svcplus.zip or svc.zip (beats me). I would just wait a couple of more months though jon. I remember when I got kof2k2 when it first came out and all I could do was practice mode =/.

It was me, Ira, Gary, and John. It was fun times. I know I was rusty. I’m not too sure how the other guys were feeling. Gary apparently hasn’t just been sitting in the lovely world of FFXI all this time. He was hitting a lot of those Slayer BDC moves more often than the last time we had a GGXX session…I think.

So much for totally safe VV. =/

Nah, just that time off from fighters usually allow me to shake some bad habits and realize what works and what doesn’t. In the process, I think up new things to try so Sat. allowed me to test a couple months of simmering ideas.

Still incredibly sick, back to FFXI. :bluu: I’ll play more GG after I’m healthy, don’t think I’ll miss those dash moves then, esp. on a stand-up cab.

Hahahah, tonight was funny. There were like 6 random people that showed up to play Guilty Gear. Gary’d get their hopes up by letting them win one round then completely destroy them the next two. This one guy gave Gary the finger when he did Slayer’s bite infinite. I think his feelings were hurt. :wink: Feel better soon, G.

Ira was telling me how he played FFXI for 8 hours straight last weekend. I wish I could play FFXI for 8 hours straight. I wish I could play FFXI. I’m looking into systems right now. I’ll get serious about buying one once finals are over.

Jon, are you still alive? I haven’t seen you in forever. How are things going with you?

I’ve just been getting the run around (on medical & legal crap) too much lately.
I feel bored all the time, & there’s not much I can do (physically or about the situation).
What a crap feeling that is.
:smiley: I try to stay positive about it all, but some days are harder than others :frowning: .
The herniated disc in my neck doesn’t help any either.

I haven’t even played any XX since my last trip to EGS.
Sad, isn’t it?
I need to change that, I need to get my a$$ out to RIT on EGS nights, maybe next week.

Well, I know I seem like I’ve been dead. But I figured I’d let everyone know that I was still alive. I just wanted to know how much longer there were going to be EGS nights at RIT. I really want to start showing up for more of those. I won’ be coming next week because of Lord Of The Rings but I really want to come to the others. Been to long since I had my ass handed to me by Gary in XX. I want to get the chance to play everyone again, like Brad, Ira and Jon (by the way Hi guys).

So which video card should I buy to play games base on DirectX9.

can somebody recommend me a good/decent video card with enough horse power to run Half Life 2($160 is all I got )…

Out of this 2 which one would pick:

Nvidia fx5600 ultra or a ATI Radeon 9600 pro?

Thanks for those links man. I was looking for it for a long time but without any luck. I guess that the wait is over now.

…about the video cards… Well I guess I will save some money and get the Asus 9800pro or the Asus fx5800 ultra. Not sure yet though. Still think about it(Too many video card to choose and not enough money to waste)…

ok here goes:

SVC - i used nebula.

nebula link - http://svcnebula.cjb.net/ (i used the first one)

rom link - http://netcity7.web.hinet.net/UserData/84434299/svc/svc.htm – copy and paste the first link that comes up. (about 8-10k/s)

Thats it, no setting up or anything necessary as long as you get these. Unzip the nebula emulator somewhere and redirect the rom directory to wherever the rom is and you’re set.

Being able to use the martians from metal slug is pretty cool =).

Gary: Sorry, I was in Canada today and didn’t get your call till I got back to Roch like 20 min ago at like 3 AM. I stopped by Pacific Mall after they closed so no Bubble Tea :frowning: but the arcade was still open. We should go back up there again as a group some time. That was a lot of fun. Everytime I’m up there and use those sticks I get so pissed off, though. >.<

Thanks for the SvC link, I knew it was going around Kaillera but really had no interest after playing the game for a little while but it’s worth another shot with my MAS-PC hookup. I have a few pads so I could play others during breaks from GG sessions. I hated the control of the game too.

Gary: Hahaha, I actually got some Pocari Sweat from a snack shop that was still open for whatever reason. Man, that stuff is no bubble tea. =/ X-Sapphire wanted to know if you planned on going to the tournament Orbit is having at the end of December. He mentioned wanting to check your Slayer. Check out the Toronto thread on GCC.

Anyone interested: GG session on Tuesday or Wednesday? I’m going home Thursday and have a final Tuesday morning, so Monday night is out.

Just some thoughts: I played this guy who wins all the Toronto biweeklies. He plays Dizzy really well. A lot better than me. I refused to mirror him because I didn’t think my ego could stand losing to my own character. He played similarly to me since he used some of the traps that I use, but he was a lot more efficent. Really great air throw setups. Hell, all of TO has good air throw setups. I asked him some questions about Dizzy, but I don’t think he understood me. =( The Testament guy Dickson was also there, but he was playing Faust. I was beating on him till his buddy stepped in and kicked my ass with Dizzy. These guys sure switch characters a lot. From what I hear, X-Sapphire (the Chipp guy) now uses Millia and Blue Zero (Jam guy) is now using Venom.
