ggs yesterday. had a lot of fun.
edit: also the stream recording was choppier than last time. I’m guessing that had to do with the increased resolution compared to the last time. We either need to tweak the settings to accommodate your internet or do the stream at my Place. I have 50mb download and 5 upload and no one else is using the internet.
there isnt enough room in the basement yp and it was the pv screwing up that made the recoridng so bad, that and my land lord wa suploading some crap, things will be ranmore smoothly next weekend!
Sunday was so fun man. GGs to everyone. I’m so free in SF X TK. I dunno if ill end up getting into that game.

Just pick up the game to show support for the company so that more fighting game companies take a queue and add the kind of detailed content that Skullgirls is doing. Hell, the tutorial mode would probably be useful for a new player like you as it teaches the fundamentals of fighting games with actual tests in each tutorial session.
It’s the argument to support the game design you like and want to see more of… And I don’t want this. Sorry man.
I don’t think skullgirls will even be a blip on the radar of any of the major game manufacturers. The only reason anyone on this forum even knows about it is because of mike z’s connections/background here.
I personally think the footage of skullgirls I’ve seen looks awful and i never liked cvs1’s gameplay or ratio system so this is a pass for me. Then again I hate anything that doesn’t have marvel characters and two assists.
It actually plays really similar to MvC2 then CVS1. A three person team has 2 assists available to them, and the DHC order change is the same as MvC2 instead of MvC3. Less characters means less assist available to the player but the characters will have more health and damage output.
The game will most likely sell well enough to have continuing support from the developers, but probably won’t reach a mainstream audience. This is partly do the game design but also heavily on the aesthetics. It basically shot itself in the foot with the aesthetic choices, as it targets a subsection of a niche audience to an already niche genre.
Game mechanics wise the game looks amazing and is probably what a lot of people wanted MvC3 to be. It actually brought out a lot of the retired MvC2 players, such as Eddie Lee and Duc Do.
Plus hats with arms!
