Most of all, shout outs to shiro420. This by far was your best tourney.
I know we got a few haters and all, but listen Steve has been doing tournies during the 3rd strike / mvc2 days.
I’ve been there back in the day, but he’s been supporting thr fgc for a long time. Before Steve gets big headed lol, u pho sho earned ur accolades for being legit to the fgc. If people don’t support this man, who da fuck in Edmonton is gonna do what shiro does? No one…
Support ur fgc peeps, and only the cream of the crop will rise and Edmonton will be on another level.

Aw man, I felt so tired after the 3 day event, so much hype and excitment this year. GG’s to everyone who played me either I lost or won and thank you everyone who participated and helped out to make this tournament possible. Congrats to the winners and those who came down to Edmonton to make all of this happen, thank you all.
Although there were some faults and issue’s with the tournament I have to say it went pretty sucessful. If there is any feedback from you guys that had run into some issue’s during the tournament, just let us know so we can plan ahead in the future.

So I think we had a couple of record breakers here that I can list a few:
-Edmonton’s largest amount of participats in total tournaments in a 3-day event.
-Edmonton’s largest fighting game tournament money match in history ($3300.00).
-Edmonton’s largest bonus pot in fighting game history ($900.00 approx)
*There is a few more out there, but I can say that it’s also one of the most hyped of all from the past events. (P.S also props from Jimmy for making umvc3 so hype lol).

Hey everyone, casuals are on for this Wednesday at Overklocked as per usual. The games being played will be Persona 4 Arena, SSF4 and UMvC3.

Casuals formally start at 6:30 for SF4 but Phil is usually there a couple hours early for casuals. I’ll probably set up the Persona station early too. UMvC3 is run by Love and others, so talk to those guys for details. The fee for everyone playing SF4 casuals and entering the ranbat is $5. You pay me, don’t pay OK. If the staff asks you say that you’re with me. This lets you play casuals all night and also enters you into the ranbat. The ranbat is a standard double elim bracket, top 4 players get points, yada yada yada. The ranbat starts SHARP at 7:30PM. Don’t be late, or you won’t get entered into the bracket.

Persona 4 Arena is free to play! Come to OK and try out the game!
