I sure hope so, but I don’t know if that implies that Sakura is better than Viper. Viper is supposed to be even better in AE than she is now. I wonder how legit can Sakura get. That fireball buff will really help. The blog was vague on what changes were made. I said that there were adjustments to damage, hitbox and recovery of various moves to make her stronger. That could mean just about anything. The change to her fireball and adjustment to her normals can definitely go a long way.
Uryo was already using Sakura in SSF4 and I think he enjoyed using her more then Viper.
Viper is the same whether she is better or worse in AE is directly dependent on the impact on the buffs and nerfs that other characters received. You can’t speculate much off of the blogs but I don’t think the nerfs to her bad match ups have changed the match up any and the characters that she did okay against got buffed.

Did you guys get a load of Air’s matchup chart for Ryu? It’s the biggest heap of garbage I’ve ever seen.
Aside from 5.5/4.5 advantage over the game’s three shittiest characters, everything else is an even or bad matchup.
Ryu’s total was: 163 : 187 (4.66 : 5.34). This would put Ryu on the bottom 1/3 of the roster. Give me a fucking break.
This is proof that whiners like to exaggerate and cry about how bad their character is, regardless of whether or not it’s actually true.
