Ok I said I wasn’t going to post anymore on the subject but I’m going to anyways.
There isn’t much that I can say to undo the damage that has been done to the Edmonton fighting game community. Words won’t do the job. People have made their minds up about Shiro and he has a knack for making the same mistakes when it comes to money. Jpizzle said some stuff about Shiro whether that’s a watered down version of what people openly say doesn’t matter. It was wrong to single him out because that’s just not fair. The whole issue of VA being a seperate gaming community in Edmonton is a dead issue. There has never been a secret gaming community and if anyone reading this has questions about that or disagrees then pm me. I can refute any argument there because I know both sides of the story very well.
Now having said all that there is an oppertunity here to revive things but it’s going to take time. People were either forced to takes sides or decided to say screw the whole thing I’m joining team nah. Words aren’t going to fix that. In time people will be able to forget this whole thing ever happened and we will be able to unite fully again.
In the meantime there is still going to be people who are left unaffected by this or have gotten over the sting and still want to play games. Those people shouldn’t be punished because of long standing fueds and dumb desicions made by others.
