Yo Fakesteve, [ERyu throw, s.HK, jump MK] is actually unblockable against a bunch of characters in the corner.
I haven’t tested it but I’m just gonna straight up assume that all command grabs can punish it but I mean, like I said in the video, that’s if you can see the setup coming and block it correctly… and that’s a pretty big if. I actually think that it beats out wake-up dp’s too just because of the angle you hit the opponent at but again, I haven’t tested it. That’s also assuming I don’t just do a deep cross-up D which I think is kinda safe against most options and you might even be able to get a punish if they roll and you have meter.
Other then that though I mean, I’ve never seen anybody else pull off this kind of stuff so I think it’ll have a lot of surprise factor for a while till people figure it out. Most people who play Hwa look for the half drive, one meter drunk confirm into B dragon tails anyways right? That’s just kinda how you play him.
Seems like it’s being used more lately. There’s a person I play against in Toronto and he’s been doing this whenever he plays Hwa though he plays a shit ton of characters.
regarding Fight Pub II,
anyone here interested in doing commentary for Top 8 for AE, Top 8 for Marvel, and commentary for the other games?
commentary is definitely the hardest part of streaming. i for one am not good on the mic, i’m just the techie guy behind the scenes.
