Uryo plays random as fuck, betting the house numerous times on raw ex dp and ultra. No idea wtf he was thinking during this match, he plays really impatient and random
though i’m gonna have to mess with that one counterhit far fp setup (you can link off counterhit far fp… as if she needed that shit lol. you can combo off counterhit far rh too but i’ve only found one setup that works, and its on Dudley :/). In the 2nd or 3rd match, he’s got BonSagatto in the corner, setup is cl.mk (on block), far fp (counterhit), c.mk xx whatever. s.lk prolly more reliable, id have to look at the frame data to see if its possible to link c.mk cuz maybe he was just fishing, but s.lk definitely links on counterhit
another thing to look at, check 14:20 or so in that video. theres a setup Bonchan does in the corner after a lk knee knockdown, he does a neutral jump and you’ll see that it stuffs uryo’s c.fp. it’s not a safejump timing because he doesn’t get a counterhit, meaning that sakura’s 4-frame c.fp is already active, but it gets beaten clean by sagat’s neutral jump whichever button that is
we were talking about using instant otoshi (the finisher for hard knockdown after ex tatsu) as a combo ender against sagat because of his tall hitbox, but i’m not sure why uryo does it. i mean, it connects, and thats neat, but doing it the way he does (cl.mk xx tatsu, c.fp xx otoshi) is less damage/stun than a standard tatsu loop, and none of his corner setups seemed particularily effective. You do get a slightly better corner carry without using your meter, but if you do standard loops ending in EX tatsu you get corner from over half the stage away (further than otoshi as combo ender without EX tatsu), and more damage/stun. it’s worth the meter imo, cuz it’s mad hard for sagat to get out of the corner, and the EX tatsu alone has great corner carry. i don’t think i’m going to use this.
Tried to break srk by letting the notifications build up, and it got to about 3500 before it just reset now. Back up we go~

the only set up i see around 14:20 is after backwards throw lk tiger knee, dash forward… he uses that often. i mostly pay attention to untechable knockdowns
