I kinda fall into both camps. I’ll use SRK and appreciate that it’s faster but god damn it’s so ugly and inelegant compared to the CloudFlare forum. Both Fantasy Strike and Skull Heart still use CloudFlare without old SRK’s slowdown.

I wouldn’t worry, I’m still pretty bad at the game. Going to spend another month strictly in training mode. After that I might grind out online marvel (ugh) for match up experience.
imo combos are important but practicing movement to avoid / setup mixups is equally important. Plus there are combos that you don’t practice from various heights and situations because you don’t even know you need to get down. Then again I’m a scrub who doesn’t have either down.
This is my problem. Practiced doing vajra teleport mixups with Dante in training mode then try and apply them online that shit doesn’t work as easy on opponents jumping around and doing things. If I try doing l, m, h+vajra, stinger bc teleport your opponent can pushblock the right time and make stinger wiff then punish it.
Definitely need to work on playing more games, seeing what hits I’m not confirming and practice how to confirm them in training. Well, I’ll do that after I can complete my bnbs 100% of the time >>

With all the new faces in the scene since '09, I never thought to ask if anyone has a background or interest in competitive puzzle games. I’ve always wanted to have a local rival or two in Puzzle Fighter, especially PFHDR. Competition on GGPO is pretty good, but PF Vanilla is incredibly unbalanced and slow-paced while PFHDR hasn’t had any sort of online scene in at least 4 years.
