Well Steve, im really sorry for not showing up in spite of all the hype. A couple of things came up at the last second and what it really came down to was a lack of preperation from my part. Sonic got his shit together but I just chose to put everything off into the last second and well…u pretty much know how that ended up. Well the only good thing about this is that Sonic kinda acted as a scouter i guess so now i know what to expect when i do come down there…which according to Sonic should be next month sometime. On that note, wat was your honest impression fo Sonic Moe…did he rep good or no.

None the less, the tourny went by quick which i enjoyed. Everybody did their part running the brackets, so that was good. Glad to see peeps coming from calgary to play. Always a pleassure. I just realized i never played greg. WTF??? Need to do that next time.

Got to give a big shout out to byron for coming up. I think your K groove is better then your A. U seem to relay too much on your customs. Tip if your going to continue using A. Switch to C groove, and just learn how to use the character, screw the customs. Get that character down pat, then use A groove, cause that groove is just too fucking cheap! GGs bro.

I think your remy is way better then your chun. But then again i dont play agaisnt remys so it may have just been a culture shock for me. Either way, u were missing alot hit confirms which would have made all the matchs goin your favor. But theres always next time. If your still in town, give me a shout and we’ll have to go to cc and play some games. I would rather play arcade then home.

Well moe, i do know the owner. And he is mor ethan willing ot allow us to have the tourney there again. For entrance… well I can rais cvs2 3s and mvc2 to 10 bucks. jus tot fatten the pot for next time. Xvsf a3 and tekken can be subject to change.
Give me some time to get things in order for next month and we’ll see about whatrs going down.

Man the night of the tourny the gaming spirit was in me lol, everything i tried actually came out, and then when me and shiro did the rematch, life half mys tuff came out lol.
You gotta love how AFTER the tourney we had to go finished XvSF, then right after that, we have a down to the wire finished for XvSF. Most epic matches ever. Well not really yours and Marvin were nice.
Dark Ren with NO life on his cyc his only character left. And Marvin with a full health storm and three bars of super. and some how the beast came back, to steal the win.
Tournament went very well, I would have to the say the most well organized and generally fun tournament we have ever had. My over all fighting skill in all games went up so much in just this 1 week because of the amount of play i actually got. GG’s to shiro for rematch at his place, even though not all my stuff came out, i still give him props for keeping his shit steady.
But i must say that atmosphere really got me hype and brought out the inner renagade in me =p. I just cant wait to unleash my true skill at t8!!

I tried to make the 3S brackets as fair as possible. I didn’t want to put all of the good players in Mahir’s bracket or else I’d be accused of rigging it for myself. I knew Sonic and Greg were good, so I put them with me. I tried to make the first round matches reasonably fair and close, so we ended up with Shiro vs Renegade and me vs Sonic right off the bat. And close was what we got.
I also apologize for skipping the Andrew vs Lee match. It gets frustrating having to bounce around the chart when people are either gone or playing other games. Turns out it didn’t make any difference.
EDIT: Greg vs Mahir in ST would be epic. I think that’s what he meant.

I use lots of characters… but people tell me my best is Urien? I dunno, I just play.
Sonic got some skills. I think he should be more offensive, but that’s only because I don’t like chasing him all over the screen :lol: We traded rounds, so it’s good enough for me!
