I’m going to say that IMO, Ed, Edd, and Eddy was utter shit.
It’s just a series of weak mostly-unoriginal stories saturated with weak slap stick humor.
But I’m sure if I watched it as a child, I’d probably think it was a solid show.

Some people may not like the quirky slapstick humor going on in EEnE, but shit that’s part of what made it appealing to me as a kid. It had the right doses of randomness that kept it funny, but not completely drown out what was going on in the particular episode (unlike a few cartoons that they are putting out today).
Oh, and someone mentioned the lack of plot in EEnE? Compared to what? As suave as Johhny Bravo was, there wasn’t much more to the plot of that show aside from ‘some self-asorbed musclehead in his late 20s who still lives with his mom’.

Weak stories? The stories were a strong point. They were all pretty original, and had a nice build up into absolute chaos and absurdity.
Also don’t try that “you only like it cause of nostalgia” shit. There were shows that I hated back then, and I still do.
