The special promotional Top-Haters copies of MvC2 were not distributed due to the creator not showing up! However, they WILL be available to the first 10 people who register for the upcoming BIG CONNECTICUT MVC2 TOURNAMENT! We now have two large-screen cabs with 360s and flat buttons. I’ll be expecting all of NYC, Jersey and Philly to show up to this, because I’m running it and you know my shit goes right. Cash prizes, perhaps some other interesting things as well. I lost to a bunch of bullshit. Fucking low block going out costs me a match I had won. Would have changed the entire tournament. Well CT sticks are the shit so now it’s payback time!
-Ricky Ortiz vs Kevin Smith
Apparently at ECC8 there was some controversy surrounding this match, as well as a lot of shittalk from Ricky. If Ricky has the BALLS to show up, Kevin has a bone to pick with him!

Yo, this was a great tourny…just like it was last year. Big thanks go out to Phi, Chris Li, Flash and others who ran things at the Break. Shoutouts and much props go out to Issac, Mixup and Justin(Blazinflo), Omar the Lamer, Dru, Damian, Josh and the rest of Philly and pretty much anyone that bummed me a ciggerate or lighter the entire weekend. My bad if I forgot anyone.
I thought last year that Row was the closest that Justin would ever get to losing, negative. His match vs. Mike fucking Mixon is probobly the closest he will ever get. It was over and done with, the outcome wasnt in question anymore. Then, somehow justin wins…Justin factor. :lol:
Only negative thing was the condition of the sticks for Marvel 2 tourny. The big cab which was deemed not good enough for play before the tourny ended up hosting the finals. With Cabinets A+C damn near unplayable. But every effort was made to fix them, so no complaints. Peace.
