Hmm, why does SF4 have to be PS3 only?
Don’t tell me I wasted money on my 360 Arcade stick…
I mean, I’m pretty sure people are willing to bring 360’s if lack of consoles is the issue.
I’m really curious here as to why Sf4 is restricted to ps3 only? I mean Sf4 is the most popular game ( and probably will be at the tourney also) and im pretty sure there are more people that own sf4 for 360 than for ps3. ( i don’t have figures, but what i can tell about the whole Arcade stick and fightpad situation, 360 definitely went Out of stock first than ps3, and there are just more 360 owners out there)

Yah I agree, it was like that at Winter Brawl. It might cause some minor confusion with the whole “should we play on 360 or PS3” but if they agree on a console it shouldn’t be a huge problem.
Running it on xbox and ps3 would only create a problem for the Players that and all the games being run can be on ps3 instead of xbox including T5:DR. Another thing is people have ps3 sticks and ps2->Ps3 adapters so that is the whole console issue + all other majors are on ps3 also. And after winter brawl eric said its ps3 only btw.
I see…well in that case how stingy are people with their PS2/PS3 arcade sticks because all I have is the 360 one 
and dont forget ppl that play with sega saturn pads. which 360 doesnt yet have a converter for^^. if they do i will buy one asap tho

I did a major update to the first post, so everyone should really check that out. We added one showcase event, and decided on times for the main tournaments. I will be opening up pre-registration later on today once I sign this contract.
The showcase event is a side-tournament for the last two spots on Justin Wong’s SF4 5v5 EVO2K9 tournament. Read the first post for details!

We have to start breaking down at 12:00am, We are going to start setting up 7:00am Saturday morning. We might have the possibility to start setting up late Friday night. Another update to the first post is coming with room rates and discounts. Make sure you guys say you are staying for the ECT event to get the discounted rate. I want to thank everyone for the positive response we have gotten back so far!

This is a message to EVERYONE:
WE NEED PLAYSTATION 3 SYSTEMS!!! Doesn’t matter what color, size, I don’t care. I’m handling the contract as I type this, so once I get that faxed over, I’ll open up pre-registration. Once I do that, when you pre-register, please let me know if you can bring a PS3 AND if you’re staying both days.
I can provide PS3 with SF4. all characters and costumes unlocked.
PS2 or PS3 sticks? whack!
If I can make it here to run the SNK I will so stay tuned it all depends on my budget!
