Just so everyone knows, I am filming a documentary about the arcade scene in America, or lack thereof, and want to get some footage of the fighting game community and a few interviews.
I’ll be interviewing Johnny and a few other people while I’m there so if you have something to say about the arcade scene be sure to flag me down.
I need a room for fri today will pay up front . Pm or aim me I’m offline will get mess. When I get on. Post from iPhone. Dr chaos has my number getting on plane.
But arturo is a great player probably top 3 in the east coast and I was just in VA not too long ago and I know eric kim is a really good player, hence why I said eric kim was on my top 5 list.
I just feel that having a GREAT sim player on the team would utilize our chances of winning since there is only 2 sim players in the whole USA in the competitive scene doing well that I know off and that’s Art from NYC and Rahsaan from NYC.
Art deserves the spot more than anyone right now, I approve of Justin’s message. The battle for Sagat will between Eric and Joe but Eric is good shit so I’d say don’t sleep on anyone at the moment. Hope everyone has a great time this weekend, I’m more bummed about missing ECT then going on vacation right now. SF4 is that crack!!!
Also Ryan is practiced up so nobody sleep on that fool, he’s so hungry he beat me in a sandwich match. So stay CLUTCH!!!
I agree with Justin’s decision. He’s just saving us the effort. In every tournament Arturo has entered, he has either gotten first or second, no less. Not only that, but he plays a very special character. No other scene in the U.S. has a* Dhalsim anywhere near as good as Arturo.
Yeha there are very few people in the US right now that would know how to fight a seriously good Dhalsim. Especially considering the experience he has with his ST Dhalsim he already has several years of experience with that character and I’m sure it’s transitioned very easily over to SFIV. I still think it’d be nice to have the spot played for but strategically I think it’s a very sound decision.
