All players used sticks, pads were optional.

Special thanks to Summoning and Styroteqe for supplying extra needed accessories for running the tournament. No MKII tournament, I didn’t see any casual matches for it all night and it was set up with sticks on the lap top for a while. The tournament was weaved between all the others, so it took about 4 1/2 hours, running over the time limit we were allowed in the ballroom. The brackets were screwed up in the losers somehow, I don’t know why, but the placement is sort of irregular. Shout out to frequent UMK3 tournament players Phi and Amir who were also in attendance.

Tournament was fun, can’t wait for another.

Julian, I challenge you to an old school 8 on the Break horriblecab UMK3 Grand Finals Showdown next time I see you there.

Just wanted to say thanks to DraxBlood, Six Buttons and Damdai for loaning me your arcade sticks so I can play in Remix. It was also very cool to see you guys.

Also shouts to Sabin, Jeron, JetPhi, Eric and MrQuotes and anyone else I met. Nothing but cool people. I don’t go to offline tournies often but I’ll do it again next year if it’s anywhere near my home again. :wink:

At Final Round someone in our group lost a Hori HRAP 2 SA. There were TONS of them there, and they all looked the same.

We got it back 2 days later.

Just ask around, sometimes mistakes actually DO happen and people own up to them.

I remember after Evo a couple years back, a well known player had their stick stolen. A couple of months later, the stick shows up at a Philly tourney. Keeping the name on a stolen stick FTL.
