One more day, looking forward to this. My other two friends couldn’t make it but me and a friend will definitely be entering BB and i’ll also be entering Tekken 6.

Hey I’m kinda new to the Raleigh area and started playing SF4 back in november. I was wondering what the skill level at these tournys are and if it would be worth it for a fairly new beginner like me to show up.

What time do we have to be there by, to sign up?

I’ll be there for sf4

I’m pretty new, too - don’t sweat it

I’d rate the skill level as moderate to high but for a beginner it would be perfect because there are many casual/friendly matches that go on a little bit before the tournament and I believe some during the tournament (as long as the tv’s aren’t being used). A comparison i’d make is your usual fighting game learning speed might be like a car where as you go to a tournament, play some really good people and get into the scene it’s like switching from a car to a train if you get what I mean. Everyone is overall pretty friendly and since the matches are basically lagless vs online you can get the true experience of playing people.

I’ll try to make it out to this tomorrow… I think I can do it.

I think I’m going to go for Blazblue and SFIV. I’ll bring my game discs too just in case you guys might need it.

So first of all great tournament Saisyu… I think I did pretty well in Blazblue and got through quite a few rounds. The competition was a lot harder this time and thought everyone that played was pretty much amazing. Really enjoyed it even if it’s not the most liked fighting game out there. Didn’t get to enter the Tekken 6 tournament since after BB ended went and fixed up my friends computer but with most of the things that were keeping me busy in the past out of the way will definitely try to make special plans to keep coming to your tournaments as usual and enter that blazblue/t6 and soon SSF4.

By the way… I really agree with the way you feel on the fighting game tournament scene and such Saisyu.
