PS: I think SixMachine has moved on to D3 (beta). I’ve seen him posting in the thread. Another game I’d want to play if I had the time.
Good stuff but I think lower prizes per event to like 500k (this is only my opinion, your event, your rules). Also add an event on the weekend. Lets have more opportunities for players. I will sponsor these events up to 5m per week. I have my own events planned and I’m planning to give out NX cards but I want us to have more active players before I start my events. Do me a favor and post your events on the offical Nexon forums and on DFOS as well. Also add an event for non-SRK members. I will sponsor the non-SRK event up to 2m per week.
We’re close to guild level up as well. Same rules as before, anyone is free to donate using the new donate guild function and I’ll pick up what’s left when the time comes.
Yea, he hasn’t been on DFO. I don’t think he even got a level 70 character yet. We got level 70 OV dungeons now but they need good cooperation.
We’re more active again. We started inviting non-SRK people. I can connect to people again so people coming back.
Scheduled Maintenance tomorrow at 7am. Hopefully it’ll be done before our SRK event happens.

Wow. I swear i had posted a response…oh well, retype.
Definitely enjoyed the last event, looking forward to tomorrow! Just a few things I wanted to say.
For the speedrun, what is the equalizer to make it fair? I know I am a lowbie and a minority but for others in the same boat (under 40) figured I would bring it up now rather than alter.
I think a fair arena PvP event would be a cool third. For the more experienced members perhaps a challenge such as living for five minutes or only being able to use basic attack chain (X,X,X). Maybe a tournament of sorts? Of course it requires you to be 18 so you can FA what you want but thats easily done in a few hours time I suppose.
Regarding ElderGODs earlier statement about lowering the winnings, I am in agreeance. While I loved winning 3m last week, I don’t have a “earned it” feel. 500k is more than enough to support me at the current level I am at and those who are higher level already have access to this type of gold so it’s more of a “nice chunk of change.” In exchange for lower payout, allow more chances at winning (instead of being able to participate once, can do so twice) This way you can still earn 1m, but it gives others a chance. Last week only two people were left on the last question since no one else could answer…this would remedy that somewhat. That’s my opinion however.
Bubblegum (fiancee) had an idea. A scavenger hunt. Say solo (or teams like in speedrun) go through a dungeon and the first to collect X amount of a drop (Goblin Phalange, Dragonoid Eye, whatever) and trade wins. Of course, being able to purchase these things in an AH or people having them in inventory already…but maybe you can figure a way to make it work.
Being a lowbie, how can I raise the guild exp? Also what does donating gold to the guild do? Thanks ^^

Burning 1 BP raises Guild EXP by 1. Guild Slips from Southern Dale gives the guild 1 point each, 100 points allows Guild Officers/Master to buy Guild EXP Books.
Aure and Elder, thanks for suggestions! I will change the Trivia prizes to 500k but will ask up to 6 questions. Weekend events is a little harder for me since I usually travel and go out of town. I might be able to do one of the weekends coming up. I’ll keep you guys posted.
For the speedrun, it’ll be a low level dungeon with some obstacles that an experienced player would overcome faster than others. The damage is irrelevant since a 1k hp monster will get killed just as fast by a level 40 ch versus another level 60 ch. I may enforce a rule tonight though that the lowest level member takes precedence, and that all experience players must be within 6 to 10 levels of that member.
I’ll definitely use your fiance’s idea for one of the events. Scavenger hunt will be awesome!

DUNGEON RELAY
- Contestants split up into teams of 4 (3 if there’s not enough).
- Moderator selects 4 dungeons.
- Each team designates one member to complete one dungeon (only one per team member)
- When given the signal, the first member of each team runs the first dungeon. Once completed, baton is passed to the next member for the next dungeon and so on until all dungeons are completed.
- First team to complete all dungeons wins.
A number of you guys need ancient dungeon runs, post up if you do so we can arrange a single group.
I would rather rush three people at the same time instead of doing three times as many runs.
I still haven’t done Resh yet.
Probably Friday night or Saturday not too late.
Elder asked if we’re doing event tomorrow. I will be on and if we have enough people, I will hold the event. The number of events will be based on how many people shows up. Need at least 9 people to play.
Actually I think I am done with this game now, PvP has just been horrible as of late.

Hey everyone. Tomorrow night’s event is tentative as I might not be around to hold the event. I will keep you guys posted as the time comes.
Next week’s Riz event on May 16th will be held with some really nice prizes (including eggs and titles). I need ideas for Event 3 but we can default to the Relay Race again.
After next week, I’ll be away for 3 weeks and will continue the weekly events beginning June 13th.
BTW, I just inherited the untradeable recipe of Crux Fidelis, pink cross. If you provide the materials, I can let the cross go for half off the AH price. If nobody claims, I will probably keep it for my sader.
