EDIT: If I may be serious for a moment, there’s something I’ve been thinking about lately and need to express. This is mostly addressed to Vestax, but it’s broad enough to be mentioned publicly.
I’ve always hated it when I get caught up into the frenzy of playing a MMO by influence of a friend only to have said friend eventually leave the game. What I’m saying here though is that this time, I was the guy who left someone hanging. Games have always had an extremely high priority in my life, but I just need to finish school. So, I apologize.

I know how you feel, that’s why I switched from fighting games to MMOs. With fighting games you take a couple years off and lose everything. With MMOs at least your items are still there, unless you play something like Diablo 2 where they delete everything if you don’t log on. Also in PvP and PvE there’s teams so if one person is rusty the others can carry the group.
I’m honestly a little surprised you can relate. But I’m glad. On second thought, it makes sense.
Now that Fair Arena is coming, I’ll start playing again.

Fudd, it was good times when we had all those road trips, ST/HDR casuals/tournies, kickin it at Sirlin’s place, etc. Education is a respectable priority, don’t sweat it man, totally understandable. I appreciate the words. You guys know why I’ve been active in it and it’s fun. It was great when Mak, Midori/Green, Six, you, Elder, etc were active. Now we have other guys active, like Delta, Naru, Kuma, Pb, DeathMk, etc., still keeping SRK alive. This game is dying a bit, so our guild activity can be sparse at times. I try to log on as much as I can.
LOL remember when we got the scare, and everyone bought all the sharp-eye pots? I still have a couple thousands left.
Reminds me of my old guild when you talk like this, before everyone except 20 careful and lucky people were hacked into oblivion. All of them quit. I’m probably like the last active person from that guild. I feel like a newb, but eventually I’ll stop getting nervous when I start PvPing in Fair Arena. Lost in a few tournaments because of that.
I’m going to get a decent internet connection before Summer, so I will be active once more when that happens. Beams is also busy with school at the moment. Same with Iyana, Kaze, etc.
I don’t know why they’re calling it fair arena, my Mech is godlike when I don’t use any gear nor cubes. Forcing everyone to have the same gear (except title and pet) will definitely not be fair hahaha. Same for Ranger. In before fair arena will be all Ranger, WM, Ele, M. Nen, F.Striker, F. Spitfire.

The best part of Fair Arena is the blind matchmaking. Was actually able to PvP constantly for a few hours last night, against a decent variety of opponents. Quite a change from ye olde days of people entering my room, seeing a scythe and a red number, and leaving.
I’m pretty rusty though. If anyone wants to practice PvP, hit me up. Would be nice to see some SRK representation in FA.
I’m willing to do that, I enjoyed it quite a bit, still need to get used to a PvP build.

Yea, like akuma said, it’s not a problem. Just log on every month to change your password to keep your account secure and your gear should still be there. Fair arena is out so gear doesn’t even matter for PvP. PvE is so free.
