Anyways, onto the New Year events. If an event does not receive any entries before [edited], then I will accept entries from non-SRK members and we can have non-SRKers win as has occurred in previous times. Edit: Events extended due to many being busy for holidays. Happy holidays to all!
Type: PvP (SRK only)
Prize: 10 million gold (5 mil per player)
Submit a PvP match. Best one has both players win gold. Doesn’t matter if you’re geared or not, if you perfect someone, do some crazy combo, or just troll someone. When it’s time for New Year we will vote on the best one. Both players must be in the SRK online guild list to be eligible.
Type: PvE (SRK + public)
Prize: 10 million gold (split between players)
This one is a best teamwork event. I want to see someone submit a video of several players using teamwork to overcome an obstacle. Some of you may have to take off those upgrades and full rare emblem sets. Be creative. A full party mashing cubes and awaken to instant kill a boss is not what I’m looking for. At least half of the players in the video must be in the SRK guild. A very basic example of teamwork is Bwanga attacking your partner and you using a grab to save your partner.
Type: Art/Offline (SRK only)
Prize: 10,000.00 NX
Time of holiday is also the time of cards with nice little pictures and messages. For this event, create a card with an interesting picture and message. Both picture and message must be DFO related and your own work. If you make an offline version, either scan it or take a picture of it with a phone/camera and upload it, but make sure that the message and picture are clearly visible and your SRK forum name is also there. The winner gets 10k NX, but the prize may be increased if the work is very good.

Item Wish List (SRK only)

This one is similar to a secret santa event. The way it works is each user may PM via SRK a wish list of what they wish they had in DFO. I will then update this thread to include that item. Anyone in our guild can then PM and let me know if they want to provide said item. If that item is provided, I will then remove it from the public list. Try to be realistic. Don’t post stuff like I want a +25 lvl65 pink. After January 1st, I will begin to contact people to let them know if their wish has been granted and trade them the item(s) if yes.

I reformatted my computer recently, so I had to reinstall DFO.
Now when I look at commands, the arrows are displayed as squares.
I had something before that made them not squares, and I know what it was.

i’d like to know the deadline to the events as well. might have a couple vids saved from a while back i could submit for the pve portion but the soonest i’ll be able to get them up will probably be sometime tomorrow. also thx for another event elder, i’ll try to get the vids+explanation up asap
No deadline yet because I didn’t receive entries for all categories yet. I’ll see if we get enough entries by 1/8 before announcing a deadline. I want people to win gold/NX and I understand that many are too busy for DFO during this time of year.
first off i apologize as these vids are essentially a whole dungeon run cut up into parts. it is extremely long and that alone may make this submission ineligible but i feel as tho we all rarely get to see vids like these with under geared/built characters attempting a reasonably difficult dungeon (if i am disqualified bcus of this, that’s ok, you did say “a video” after all.) sent wyze my half of the vids and asked him to put them up on his youtube. there are 2 sets of vids of the exact same run, one from each character’s POV. each run is split into 5 parts and at the start of the first vid we both do a formal inventory/skill check. pls read description and links are below, enjoy!

i party with wyze a lot and this is the way we’ve been playing since dfo’s NA open beta release. we both have pretty good backgrounds when it comes to sidescrollers/beat’em up style games (i often play with him when going for 1cc coop attempts) and i believe we really have a good amount of synergy, it’s often easy for me to read him. around the time of recording, within dfo related forums there had been a lot of posts (mostly rants) concerning the difficulty of this particular dungeon so i decided to start recording some of my runs. unlike 90% of the dfo vids out there, these are not meant to be flashy or even entertaining, in fact they’re probably down right boring and i’d like to thank in advance anyone able to watch the whole thing.
tldr: 2 guys with bad equipment, stats, builds, damage output, and no avas/items try to attempt a dungeon that some people on some forums were complaining about some time ago…also surprise ending included…maybe lol
