Even Seria suggests that you start a new character after you hit 70. I don’t play this game for PvP. In theory, I think DFO PvP is great. But in practice, it’s just not for me. My competitive outlet is Super Turbo, not DFO. I’ll let Nerull and Green handle that.
I may or may not start leveling up my support Crusader, but I won’t be around for x2 hours this weekend. I’ve always wanted to try Asura and might finally have a good chance since there are custom inputs now, but I’m gonna be starting school in a little more than a month. Don’t expect to see me on DFO much.
I was just looking for this thread. I just got around to downloading it. I have a preist and a gunner. I haven’t really played much though…like…maybe an hour on the priest.

I can’t connect with Nerull and I don’t think Green does PvP any more. Yea, things get busy at times, but it would be cool if you could still log and say hi once in a while. Asura is a tank that can do damage, would be cool to see more of them. I will still be around during nights.

I did get invited to a random guild though that I got attached to in the time I’ve been waiting though, so I’m probably going to stay in that one on certain characters, I dunno.

This is great, my conscious is clear now, because I haven’t spent a cent on a Nexon game for close to a decade even though I tried pretty much all of them (Kart Rider was damn good). Now, if only I didn’t rent those Uwe Boll movies. Can’t believe I spent money on something made with Nazi gold.
The only thing you really need is the first safe upgrade.
If you want to make gold via legit methods, an auction license is a must.
Knowing Nexon, someone probably tripped over the power plug and their server isn’t set to auto restart and they have to wait for the server guy to come in Monday morning with the key to the server to press the power button.
Anyways, lets all try to PvP more and try to get some more dedicated daily runs.
I don’t expect the game to be up before Wednesday but it would be nice if I could play tomorrow night.
It’s good now. Only have to hit refresh once if at all. Too bad SRK isn’t working again and I can’t edit the thread title. I’m thinking I may move the guild to a different site other than SRK or just make my own site and host it since SRK seems to be having problems. Also lack of character specific forums makes hundreds just go to DFO Source instead.
DFO is no longer fun for me anymore, so I may not bother to even log in for a while. I hate how so many quests take hundreds of runs doing the exact same fucking thing. There is no challenge. It’s just a mindless grind and I’m burnt out. With Phantasy Star Online 2 on the horizon, I ask myself what’s the point of trying so hard to keep up with DFO content when I’m just gonna end up quitting in a few months anyway. I am also tired of spending real money on this game. The most important thing for video games is fun, and DFO feels more like work to me. I would love to do PVP but I just can’t keep up with PVE content fast enough to be able to properly compete with others. I know they removed the fatigue system, and I cut my chars down to only 2. But then they had to go and add many new quests that take hundreds of fucking runs, which brought me back to my original problem.
Instead of spending all of my free time doing the same boring run over and over, and never actually keeping up, I just want to stop. I’m not quitting for good just yet, but it may happen sooner rather than later. I don’t know when I will log in again. By not playing, I will only get further behind, which makes me want to give up even more. -_-;
When I do decide to actually quit, I will let you guys know and remove my chars from the guild at that time.
