I play Vindictus on the West server even though I live on the East coast. Though ever since coming home, Nexon games in general have been giving me grief with my connections. I have a level 30 Evie. I just had my broken ash set fully completed.
I can’t wait for Thief to hit, gonna be fun to learn some new match-ups. I just hope they aren’t the scary overpowered versions I’ve heard so much about.

Hopefully they’ll at least not have bugged damage at the very least. Then again it seems like Neople does it again with the male fighter. There’s a vid of the male fighter when they just released them, and the male nen’s tiger flash was doing basically 3/4 of a bar a hit.
I haven’t pvped in a while so I wouldn’t mind getting in some sessions with some people (assuming that I can actually connect to them). I might be on tonight or something.

Yea. The Brawler seems pretty insane. He has to set up his items like a spitfire has to ready grenades. Then he does stuff like chuck nets, throw boulders, and needles. The male nen seems pretty cool with having a tiger flash that actually lasts a decent amount. Their nen shot is basically looking like Ryo’s from art of fighting and the funny thing it goes the same distance (remember in Art of Fighting when you were out of energy and tried to chuck fireballs? ).Their spirals are different and their nen guard is faster casting but lasts a second or two. Female nens seem better for parties but I want a male nen just because he’s an offensive in your face type of character.
The only gimped one I hear is male grappler because something is screwed up with his grab priority (they say the grabs don’t seem to even activate grab cannon at times and is buggy).

What about strikers?
I didn’t hear much about them but I heard there is a few things that put them slightly under females. Some of their move properties are different so I think it would effect mob grouping and counterattacks. I also don’t know much about awakening besides them getting fire feet, but the female striker awakening is still pretty crazy especially with a halgi to get counterattack bonus.
edit: You probably can ask around dfosource or something for specific firsthand experience. I sort of wish I could try kdnf but I would feel bad about using someone’s social security and telephone number.

Is there a official release date for thief?
Well their last and biggest update announcement is june 15th. So probably the wednesday after that or something since they like to patch on wednesday. I think the release date is out there, I just don’t know off the top of my head.
I’m thinking tonight will have to when they would have something huge like Second Impact. That way you could get the hype building for the next two weeks and have everyone waiting and ready for the 15th. I believe the 15th will just be like new event avatars and some dumb collection event for bad items or limited time items.

Hmm. I saw this thread in the recent activity threads. Looks like an interesting game. I might have to try it when i get some free time.
Looks like second impact is coming right before summer like everyone expected last year and Justin is probably going to try to push for a large PvP tournament because no matter how much content is added PvE will never be as fun as PvP.
It has a TV channel or some shit on TV in Korea…wonder if any of them would tune in lol.
