But yeah, Nexon is really stepping things up lately. I have 28 Mil (Hopefully 34-35ish mil) ready to ditch the witch (lolrhyme) for Thief > Rogue.
Guess I’ll be following this course of action as well.
I might just try out Thief if the manual inputs aren’t too unfriendly. And I’ll be making a male fighter no matter what whenever that content gets released.
Out of curiosity, which is better…DFO, Vindictus or TERA Online?
Well, you’re asking in a DFO thread lol… Obviously I like DFO the best. I’ve played Vindictus a bit, and it has a Monster Hunter-ish feel to it. I’ve also seen some TERA Online vids. It looks really stale and tries really hard to look pretty.
Anyways, you really have to try them out yourself. Of course you can’t try out TERA Online yet :V
Is thief still OP?

The Rogue and Necro are subclasses of Thief.
I heard from people that when they first came to Korea, they did ridiculous damage in pvp, like far more than intended. I think I’ve seen a vid where the kunais or something that were bugged, basically killing someone with ease. But since then, they got patched, but I hear they are still pretty good. You can probably try to dig up something on dfosource for more information, since I don’t really know any information firsthand.
What’s the deal with Necros? I hardly see any talk of them since everyone generally goes thief that i’ve seen.

Hopefully they would just come with some patches already with them.
@Shin Oni I dunno, but when people just say thief, they’re just generalizing the whole class in general like saying fighters or gunners. From the impression I got of necros, they’re like summoners. I heard (I’ve been saying this a lot) that Nicholas the butler was hard as hell to kill originally but now dies rather easily in kdnf. Though I think I might try them over Rogue at first.
I think we should probably take everything with a grain of salt though.
@Isamu I’ve play DFO more but I also like Vindictus. Just recently they had a staff Evie revamp, so I got back to playing her a bit. Vindictus feels like Nexon actually updates the game faster and getting closer to the Korean version faster than DFO. I sort of wish Nexon actually was that quick with DFO.
Oh duh. Meant Rouge not Thief. I’ll still give the necro a try over rouge. Cause everyone’s going to be running it be it kids from Maple story or just people trying their best to be a female naruto character.
Necros eat a lot of mana, and I think they require way better gear than a Rogue does. Which may be why they’re not talked about a lot.

Not for bots, they farm with fixed damage characters and ditch the weapon. Then again, most of them use hacks to easily clear rooms anyway and don’t worry about repairs.
