Decided to make my slayer into a blade master. Now I just need a lightsaber and the level to equip one. Still out of healing stuff so I made a mage so I can do some earlier stuff and mail myself crap. Played until 5 am getting her up to level 11 (my main in only 19)…had a nightmare about GSD hunting me down. Thankfully I realized it was one of those situations where it only LOOKED like he wanted to kill me. He just wanted to show off his razor sharp swords and carve a turkey for me.
Do mages take up extra bandwidth or something? I can’t even party play with her because of game breaking lag. Also I having so many spells makes it hard to be exact…like if I want to move down and use left plus Z, sometimes the down left z special comes out (and misses because I need to move down)…it can be pretty frustrating.
Anyway, if anybody has some low leveled crap they wish to unload onto a poor sword master/mage; IGNs Kromo and DrLolicon

Sometimes its best just to seal the skills that overlap each other, especially the ones that do a hadouken motion, because they tend to come out when you don’t want them. It’s best to just hot key them if they are bothersome. You do get a little bonus on the downtime and mp cost when you manually do them though but its negligible.

edit: There is only one server (Cain) so far. It’s pretty fun. They said we might be getting an update dec for DFO that would fix the exp curve and make it easier (Though honestly vest is the only unfair place but its just shitty super armor, lag, and regeneration) to make it more accessible. The exp curve is funny because to get to 39 to 40 its 11mil exp and if you look at the exp bar at 40, it takes 7mil to get to 41.

Question: How do I go about upgrading my stuff? The dungeon drops always seem to be crap, and I havent found any decent vendors of standard gear upgrades that I should be looking for… I’m lvl 15 and I’m still rolling with shitty lvl 9 gear and whatnot. Is trading with other players my only bet?
On another note, if anyone wants to throw a lvl 15 gunner some salvation army gear/consumables lemme know.

I think around your level if you do quests they give you decent weapons. Upgrading isn’t worth it till later levels because you’ll replace it fast but I’ve seen dudes who have lvl12 pistols to +13 just for the hell of it. I’ll pass stuff on later today too.
so ive been playing this game for a few weeks, its pretty fun and great for pick up and play. i have a 28 striker and a 23(?) summoner. summoners are pretty lolz, all i do is summon a bunch of crap and move my character up and down while watching tv. i pretty much never die, even vest is/was more or less painless.
thinking of buying one of those shop hippos to sell all the random junk i get; i have a bunch of blue lightsabers (halogen sword, +3 beam saber, beam saber), some level 20 purple scythe, level 25 purple brawler claws, some rings, and some purple slayer weapons. is it worth getting a shop to sell these or would it be easier just to spam chat? i dont want to spend $5 to get like 200k gold.
speaking of money, do most people farm their money or do they SPEND MAHNI TO MAKE MAHNI, ie selling cash shop stuff?
also if anyone has fighter or mage avatars for sale hit me up (although i probably cant afford the really good stuff…), IGN jayomega (striker) or Lolibeats (summoner) :tup:
Right click your spells to “seal” them, so it no longer uses that Z binding.

Some quests will give you purple items. There should be one from Cinda that’ll get you a level 18 purple item.
Alternatively you can use forums, the Nexon ones or DFOSource, to sell your shit. If you plan on buying avatars with irl money, it would be a good time to do so now with the sale and all. I’d save the avatar tokens for the next batch of avatars though.
Does anybody have a program that’s like XPadder but works with Window 7? I just upgraded this past weekend and suddenly discovered it didnt work. Plus, you have to pay for the latest version. Im trying to save this option for last.
I’ve sent you some healing items kromo (they can poison you thought). Just keep farming those dragonoids if you need healing items.

@Ryusuke xpadder did not work for me too in this game, but I found out stuff like my pad are already supported in game. Try to play around with it in hotkeys to see if it’ll work.
