My suggestion for builds is to basically level every skill in the grappling tree to whatever it needs to be for a pre-req for anything higher, to get muses uppercut to 5 so you can get the cancel, and get air walk to 5 so you can get spin kick. After that, you’ll have an opportunity to play with basically all of your useful skills so you can find combos and such that work for you. You may want to consider dumping a few points into sand toss for a projectile option, but you don’t really need it badly so it may be a waste of skill points for you.
Also, feel free to play around with ALL of the skills at first, at level 18 you get your sub-class quests, which once you complete, you get to re-spec your char, so anything under 18 is free to play with.
Also, there is no guild since the guild system hasn’t been implimented yet.

The suggestions you got so far are great, just wanted to add a few things. Now that I am lvl30 there are a few things I would change and adjust if I could go back (you can respec but it costs $25, no fucking chance).
As said before, pay some attention to prereqs. A skill like Shoulder Tackle takes 5 levels in Iron Physique, so you really have to ask yourself if getting ST is worth the 5 levels in IP and the 100 points you spend there. If you think about them this way you’re less likely to overspend.
The 2 skills I would avoid are Neck Snap and Sliding Grab as I am not fond of either. Some people will say the slide is good in PvP but I’ve not had that experience and the points are more useful elsewhere imho. Get Spin Kick for sure and Seismic Punch to at least lvl 5 as a prereq (seismic punch gets really good at lvl15 when it has no delay if you decide you love it, but it’s a lot of points).
Air Steiner, Elbow Shock, and Spin Kick at lvl30 are all completely sick. They completely changed the way I play my grappler. Stick out the lame grinds at 23 and 26 and you’ll be well rewarded.
Irresistible Grab is your only buff so buy a few levels to increase the duration, it’s a house against bosses.

yes u can buy stuff at the outfit vendor for each class (i believe) because u will see people in the street selling avatar customs for all classes
hook a brother up if u go to mcm tomorrow and can get those cards :smokin:
it sets the max skill points that you can have at lvl 40 (the current cap in the american version of the game) or lvl 60 as long as you do all the quests. So you can see how much points it would take to have all the skills that you would like.

I should’ve grabbed the whole fucking stack, the rep basically told me to take as many as I want, and then proceeded to keep handing us piles of them. Last time that I only take a few “to be nice,” I thought they’d be worth like .25 a piece, not $5.
My buddy says he may have a few extra, if he does (depending on how many there are), i’ll shoot out a few PM’s with them. The catch is they MAY not work, supposedly they’re only valid for 30 days after pax, i’m surprised mine worked at all… if they work, then enjoy $5 worth of nxcash.
Again, when he gets back from Canada and checks if he’s got extra I’ll share the wealth as much as I can, I doubt I’ll need more money than what I have.
If it’s possible to buy shit for people, another option is that I can have him buy shit for me, and I can give some stuff out. He plays less than I do.
